Starbucks — Restaurant in Athens

Well what can I say I truly love a great cup of Java! I great cup of Joe can literally bring me from a 0 - sad / negative day to 10 - lets take over the world amazing day! Thats right! A great cup of Joe can make my day a fantastic energetic happy day. However, the chances of me getting a good cup of Java is nearly impossible at times. To be honest I usually don't go to Starbucks to get my coffee. Reason being I usually stay away from chains in general, unless it is convenient like today. However, I am so glad that I did so today. As soon as I got to the counter I was welcomed with a huge happy smile. I was served and taken care of by Baristas Jada and Grace both where so wonderful, super knowledgeable and so patient with me as I tried to get to know the menu that I decided to go ahead and try a venti iced caramel machiatto. Oh my heavens! This beautiful drink looks like a coffee piece of art beautiful... just beautiful! The flavor was elegant satisfying and so comforting. Just what I needed to take my day from basic to extraordinary!. Thank You barrista Jada and thank you barrista Grace for reminding me that a great cup of joe is not just in the flavor is also in the customer service and the love that is put into!!! I went to Starbucks on a casual, classy Tuesday evening. It was the middle of summer and I was standing in the freezing snow. I was so excited to order my espresso con panna. Where espresso meets a dollop of whipped cream to enhance the rich and caramelly flavors of a straight-up shot. Or so I thought. After standing in the heat of the middle of winter you can assume I was very hot. I entered the store shivering and while waiting in line, one of the beastly looking workers came up to me and THREW UP all over my NEW GUCCI SHOES, PRODDA, BALENCIAGA, and JACKET FROM JCPENNY!!! Look I don’t care that my clothes are all ruined (although that jacket costed me $1400). The one thing that bothered me was this worker. His vomit was YELLOW. The man proceeded to casually walk out the store without saying sorry. All the other workers were laughing. They called me “Taco Bell lunch” whatever that means. I brushed it off and proceeded to order my drink. But when I got it, I saw hair and what looked to be toothpaste in my drink. It tasted pretty good, but I am concerned for whoever is brushing their teeth with a hairbrush. I walked out of the store with my drink. Staff was friendly, but there was no discernible markings, signs or employees standing in front of registers to let you know which register was open or where a line started and since I was new, I was skipped over. That was disappointing but okay. I wanted something lite so I asked for a cake pop with my iced latte. I was told the cake pop was birthday cake, but to me, it tasted nothing like birthday cake, and the actual cake being a deep tan color was off setting.
