Came here for a birthday dinner in one of their private rooms. The deposit was 1k. That was paid via card. Prior to signing the contract I inquired if I would need able to use cash and another card when I actually show up to dinner. Upon arriving things went well until it didn't. 1. Many of my guests had cold food. When they reported the food was cold, they "remade" the dishes. To our surprise, the dishes weren't actually remade but they reheated the plates and switched around the plates as if it was remade. 2. I was given a complimentary shot that ended up being added to my tab. 3. Despite asking about payment options beforehand, I was told at the establishment that I could not use cash and could only use the card on file. I presented 80% of the tab in cash. The manager made no accommodations and insisted that the only form of payment that could be used was the card on file. As you can imagine, that was not feasible for a party of 16 guests and mostly having cash. 4. Prior to being presented with the receipt, my card was charged without a final signature. Overall, my experience for my birthday dinner was absolutely ruined. While the food that WAS hot was good, nothing else about my experience was up to par. I would highly NOT recommend this establishment for any big events due to their inability to be consistent with payment expectations. The alleged manager was very condescending, asking if I knew what a contract was and printing out a contract that didn't specify final forms of payment.Spending almost $3,000 to them means nothing apparently.
Following my event I followed up with the events manager that I had been communicating with, as well as the regional manager. Both were very apologetic and insisted that I should have been able to utilize cash and another card. They also offered a complimentary meal for myself and one other guest. While I TRULY appreciate their response, it does not negate the fact that I was 1. Treated disrespectfully at my own birthday dinner 2. Left the restaurant with my card overdrafted because the “manager" decided to run my payment without my consent". I truly dislike to pull the race card, especially when my own people are also involved. But this response felt racial motivated, even though the manager was also the same race as me. All I can assume is that HE assumed a room full of young Black people would not be able to afford the caliber of dinner that we were receiving and decided to charge my card beforehand to reduce risk of no payment. But he was wrong and when cash was presented, he would have needed to own up to his fraudulent activity. While the food was good, I cannot say I will return. I've been to several restaurants and have never received the level of disrespect that I did during a night that was supposed to be so...
Read moreMuch as I hate to say it. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. You can do much better at less than 1/4 the price. Food: overpriced, somewhat tasteless, with vegetables undercooked and protein overcooked, will take you over an hour to get after ordering and will arrive cold. The food is very basic and cost way to much for what it is. The best thing about the food is that the portion size is decent if you can stomach eating it. The food looks nothing like the pics on their website. They also CHARGE you for the water here, so if you ask for water, they will ask if you want carbonated or still, which is just regular water. They will bring you a refillable bottle, meaning it isn't bottled water like Perrier or anything and then charge each person $6.50 a piece for the bottle. Utterly ridiculous. Wait staff is decent, but sometimes seemed confused about what they should be doing and very aloof. While we were there a fire alarm went off. Diners were looking around, us included, wondering if the place should evacuate. Our waiter nor management came around to assure that all was OK. A person we were dining with asked another waiter standing at the table next to us if everything was OK and he just said, "I'm talking to them" and blew him off. Glad it wasn't me he said that too because I would have made sure he knew I was talking to him. He was extremely rude. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen until after everything died down about 8 minutes later. They also don't know how to make mixed drinks. Wife ordered a pomegranate martini. Waiter had never heard of it, but said he would ask the bar, came back and said they could make it. About 40 mins later the manager comes and say sorry it took so long for your drink as he stands there shaking what was supposed to be it. He told us it was on the house since she waited so long and poured the drink. Tasted terrible! like they took tequila, which isn't even used in martini, and added pink food coloring to it. To top it off we were charged $14 for it. So much for on the house. We left unfulfilled and utterly disappointed and we actually live an hour away and drove there to dine out with friends. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the ambiance of the place is nice, table clothes linen nabkins and the lighting, etc., but that is about it. I still tipped the waiter 18% although I don't think he really deserved it, but I figured he needs to earn a living. We went to Grand Lux Cafe, which is located a floor up, the next evening and had a much better experience, better food, better taste, that arrived hot for almost 1/4 of the cost. We will never go to Davio's...

Cooked to perfection, the steak boasted a beautiful sear on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. The aging process had worked its magic, resulting in a depth of flavor that was simply outstanding. Every bite was a succulent symphony of rich, beefy goodness.
Accompanying the steak were a variety of delectable sides that elevated the dining experience even further. The truffle mashed potatoes were smooth, creamy, and infused with just the right amount of truffle essence. The grilled asparagus provided a delightful crunch and a hint of smokiness that complemented the steak beautifully. And let's not forget about the heavenly mac and cheese, which was oozing with cheesy goodness and had a perfectly crisp breadcrumb topping.
In addition to the remarkable food, the ambiance at Davio's was both sophisticated and inviting. The dim lighting, elegant decor, and cozy seating created an intimate atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The restaurant's attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the polished silverware to the tasteful artwork adorning the walls.
