Food was absolutely horrible I got a burger which was dry as possible literally even the lettuce and tomato was dry the bbq fries just taste like a salty mess 🤮. The atmosphere wasn’t too bad but for sure was a dead 60s dinner feel. The server was the worse person to ever have working in hospitality she had already previously given my friend a god awful experience once before but felt like giving her a 2nd chance but this person just doesn’t need to work in a place with such malice and attitude. She asked what sauce I want on my burger I told her then she came back and asked what it was again… told her once again then the food came out and I didn’t get the sauce I wanted I told her about it then came back with it and angrily slammed my sauce down on the table as if I forced her to bring the wrong sauce after asking me multiple times. After more I just don’t even feel like typing we asked for to go boxes and the bill to use get out of there and find out she charged me twice for sauce that should’ve came free on a burger??? Then told me I can’t use Apple Pay and I HAVE to pay her cash. I said ok and walked to my car and got her money and realized she had an officer follow me to my car as if I would run off for a 20$ tab… when I paid her she LITERALLY told me I work off tips so go to your car and bring me more money…. Now imagine if I had matched her energy and decided to go back into the restaurant with something other than extra money for a lazy ignorant sorry excuse for an employee rather than get upset breathe and go write an angry review. Please make changes and do better before I come...
Read moreZero COVID precautions. Some of the staff weren't wearing masks properly... The manager/owner wasn't wearing a mask at all nor was the bartender while serving behind the bar. We picked a place at a safe distance from other people at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartender prepared the drinks directly in front of two other patrons not wearing masks (less than 2 feet) and left the drinks there for several minutes. No blame to the patrons... They can't drink and wear masks but we weren't comfortable with our drinks sitting directly under them while they talked.
We decided to leave, we thanked and apologized to the bartender and explained that we just weren't comfortable with the food/drink safety. The bartender was courteous and understood. However, the manager/owner decided it was a good idea to confront us in the parking lot after we left the building, spouting off about how he doesn't have a mask policy because "the governor doesn't require them to". We tried to explain that it wasn't the mask policy... It was the lack of food/drink safety that made us uncomfortable. He tried to argue more, then my fiance gave him an earful and we left.
Understanding that patrons don't wear masks while eating and drinking but staff should be wearing them at all times... And precautions should be taken with food and drinks. We'll be reporting them to GA Department of...
Read moreWe visited Elbow Room on April 29, 2024, to celebrate my cousin's birthday, drawn in by their convenient opening hours. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a series of unacceptable incidents.
Our waitress appeared to be intoxicated, which set the tone for a disappointing evening. Our pizza was burnt, and when we brought it to her attention, she used her finger to flip it and dismissively said it was "slightly burnt" and we should either eat it or leave. We stood our ground and requested for it to be changed. She did. To make matters worse, our wings orders were incorrect.
When we received the bill, we noticed it had been padded. After settling the bill, we gave the waitress a tip of $5 and promptly told us to leave immediately, pushing us to clear the table without even saying "excuse me." She went so far as to say we didn't know how to tip and weren't welcome back. The birthday boy was understandably upset and tried to complain to the bartender, but she seemed to be under the waitress's influence, saying "they're okay" and showing us the door without allowing the bartender to intervene.
The combination of poor service, subpar food, and unprofessional behavior from the waitress made for a truly unforgettable experience. I hope management takes our feedback seriously and addresses these issues to prevent similar incidents...
