I've passed this place countless times over the past few months and finally had a chance to stop in. My fiancé and I spent about two hours here to knock out some computer work.
When we walked in, the shop was busy but still pleasantly quiet. The dining and lounging areas were well-occupied, yet there were still plenty of seating options to choose from. Most of the tables are high-top style—some seating six, others accommodating 8+ along a wall or at the coffee bar. There are also a few lounge chairs paired with small tables perfect for phones, tablets, coffees, or pastries.
We chose Foxtail based on positive online reviews and its convenient location. Parking was easy, and the vehicle registration process took only a few seconds. My fiancé ordered a regular Toasted Marshmallow latte, and I tried the large Blackberry Chantilly latte. Both were delicious. I had never had a fruit-flavored latte before, but I saw it on the menu while browsing online and decided to give it a shot. I'd definitely order it again.
The service was fast. We were able to walk straight to the counter without waiting in line. Others who arrived later did have short waits, but the line moved quickly. Our drinks were prepared promptly, and we got right to work using the complimentary Wi-Fi. During our visit, staff asked if we needed anything while tidying up the dining area. This was a nice gesture since it is the type of establishment that you order at a counter and pickup the order once it's ready.
The shop plays background music that adds to the ambiance without being distracting, which we appreciated—especially when we needed to discuss a few things about the week ahead.
Prices are a bit on the higher side, especially compared to more traditional coffee shops.
Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at Foxtail. I’m looking forward to returning soon for another Blackberry...
Read moreCame here for some good coffee and get some studying done! I wound up getting an iced matcha, and it was surprisingly decent. It wasn't extremely powdery, but I think it could have been creamier. The peppermint mocha was definitely strong in the coffee flavor, but the peppermint foam on top was yummy. Coffee is on the pricier side; I think two specialty lattes came to be around $16. The two baristas were super helpful and kind when I was picking out what I wanted to drink.
There's various seating with lots of outlets on the walls and poles. There are sofa chairs, bar seating, high chair tables, and regular tables. It's somewhat noisy with background music and then some type of event started with loud music. I had no idea about it or that the cafe hosted this stuff like book club/meeting new people. There is no affiliated parking lot, you just need to find street parking. There's no associated parking lot. Only some of the tables have outlets, like the bar seating, window seating, or chairs by the poll. Given all the seating, it's a bit crammed.
I wish I knew that Foxtail Coffee was hosting an event that night like maybe something on their website or a sign inside the shop? It was really loud, but they were nice enough to try to include us in this mindfulness or meditation event.
The foam of the peppermint mocha was pretty and tasted good overall. I also got an iced matcha latte, which was decent. It didn't taste too powdery or earthy. It could've been more creamy but I just love a good matcha. There is no parking by this cafe. You can luck out with street parking or...
Read moreWent to Foxtail today for the first time. Parking is easy with an attached garage that’s free up to two hours. Once inside, it’s a cute smaller coffee shop. I ordered a hazelnut latte with oat milk and a turkey sausage & cheese bagel (my first choice of the hash brown sandwich was out of stock). Latte came up quickly and off first sip I thought it was yummy. A few minutes later I got my bagel sandwich. When I bit into it I realized the turkey sausage was a bit frozen. I took it back to the counter and lady ahead of me had taken hers back for the same reason. The girl who took my order apologized and said she’d remake it. I noticed the lady ahead of me got a new sandwich but another barista must have told her not to give out new sandwiches just reheat the original one. Which would have been fine until she was ready to hand me two boxes, meaning she didn’t really know which sandwich was mine vs the other ladies. When I opened the box I could instantly tell that was not my original sandwich as I’d taken a bigger bite. I asked hey are you sure this is my sandwich and she just said you can throw it away I’ll make you a new one. While no one was rude about the situation it wasn’t ideal for my first impression of this...
