For Brothers Day Out I let my little brother pick the restaurant. As his palate is diverse and he enjoys a variety of food I wasn’t shocked when we ended up at Krave.
Driving up to Krave, it is right off the Main Street so you can’t miss it. Parking is limited as the lot itself is smaller so I would suggest carpooling if you’re in a group.
Upon walking in the ambiance is chill yet vibrant. There was an R&B Playlist playing which instantly caught my ear. The style of the decor is simple yet bold. LoL! Let me explain, simple in design, yet bold with the dominance of black as the color stands out with the all glass front and few pops of color.
The menu hangs on the wall, I would have loved to have been able to review a paper menu opposed to keeping my neck at an angle while I reviewed the menu, however, there weren’t any. As this was my first time at Krave it took me a few moments to fully capture the menu selections. I think my neck was mad at me.
I decided on the Chicken Bulgogi Bowl - 12 oz chicken in fruit based soy sauce over rice… The dish is simple by design but elaborate in flavor. The profile fusion of the spice accompanying the fruit based soy sauce is absolutely mouth pleasing. The chicken was moist and flavorful and seasoned with a spice blend that fit the fusion theme of the bowl. The portion was perfect for the price and had enough for me to take some to go.
If you’re not into spice you can get the bowl regular. My little brother had it that way and enjoyed it as much as I did the spicy.
The service is quick and efficient. The young lady at the register was nice and was able to answer the few questions we had.
The restaurant was super clean. The tables weren’t sticky and the floors were clean as well.
Good Food. Clean Environment. Great Playlist. I will definitely be back to Krave for another Chicken...

Love this place!
The atmosphere was nice. Well decorated, clean and inviting. Indoor and outdoor seating. Quick and efficient counter serve setup.
Excellent service! For a counter serve restaurant it was all you could ask for. Quick, accurate, friendly, clean.
We came here for dinner. I got the bulgogi platter, my wife got the spicy pork platter, and we shared hot honey fries. We shared each other's proteins too. It was all so good I didn't want to stop eating.
Very fresh tasting food! The bulgogi was seasoned nicely. The spicy pork really hit the spot too. A nice level of heat. Anyone who likes spicy food will be able to handle the heat of the spicy pork and enjoy the flavor. The platters came with the protein, nice semi sticky rice, cucumber kimchi, green beans, and Korean coleslaw. The rice was semi sticky, melt in your mouth easy to eat with chopsticks. Cucumber kimchi was crunchy, tangy, and just enough heat. My wife who does not like pickles or even cucumbers masquerading as pickles loved them. Green beans were solid, imo the weakest link, but still really good. The Korean coleslaw tied it all together, very refreshing and a nice relief if you're getting too much spice on your pallette.
I highly recommend this place, happy to have it in the neighborhood. Glad Figo moved to make...
Read moreMy wife and I were in town for both business & pleasure when we found this new Krave restaurant that just opened up yesterday so we decided to give it a try. I had the bulgogi plate which is basically their Korean marinated thinly sliced ribeye with rice and banchan (banchan = side dishes) and my wife had the spicy chicken with rice and banchan.
My wife and I are both Koreans so this is what naturally attracted us to try this new place and I have to say it was beyond delicious! They started making the food right then and there so it was super fresh and the portions were really great! I'm 5'11, 185lbs and I eat like Homer Simpson and I could barely finish my plate. For the price of $13.50 for my plate and $12.50 for my wife's plate, it's as good of a deal you will find in town.
As you can see from my other posts, I post a lot of food pictures and reviews but when we got our food, we both usually take a bite then stop to take pictures but it was SO good, we forgot to take pictures! LOL.
We're going to be in town for about another week and I'm sure we'll be back again but next time, with pictures! To the nice friendly gentleman named Noah, I hope your boss gives you a raise because you were so nice, friendly, and helpful! It's so hard to find a good...
