A very bad customer service experience. I placed a large delivery order of 20 pizzas for a group, 24 hours in advance. Things got busy at the restaurant the next day and the pizza was 30 minutes late. This might be considered acceptable to some for just one person waiting on a single pizza but I had 50 hungry people waiting for lunch and another 30 who left to find lunch elsewhere. No phone calls from the store to let me know; I called twice trying to find out where the pizza was and was on hold for over 10 minutes both times. The manager seemed conciliatory and agreed to a partial refund of my order since we ended up with too many pizzas and missed reimbursements. However, he was vague about how and when this would happen, and after calling back a few times he said I needed to come into the store because he couldn't process this with a CC over the phone. When I came in to the restaurant a day later, he said he had just spoken to his GM who told him it was against policy to offer refunds (he did offer a credit on a future order which does not help me; I was ordering for a group and we will not be using this restaurant again for large orders anyway) and besides, there was physically no way for him to do this on the register. Again, no phone call to let me know this before I drove out of my way to the restaurant. He was very evasive when I asked to speak with the GM, so I left empty-handed and angry.

Read moreUgh wish I could choose which store gets my order. When I lived in Atlantic Station the Papa John's at GA Tech/State St was pretty good. THIS store in comparison is pretty sucky. Food always tastes good don't get me wrong, but I doubt anyone knows what customer service is. Plus their system always seems to be down. If you make the mistake of calling in, 7/10 times you're going to be on hold 10+ mins. Yesterday I redeemed my free pizza with an online order which was extra cheese, half pineapple and ham other half green pepper and tomato, extra garlic and extra peppers. Lo and behold their system was down. I ordered at 11:30A and the pizza wasn't delivered until 2P, after I had already left for work (my boyfriend received the order). When I returned home I realized the pizza was not at all half/half; there was meat on my veggie portion which is not okay I'm a vegetarian AND they forgot all my extras. Being too tired from work and not feeling like being on hold at midnight, I decided to call in the morning . I was on hold for at least 10 mins. The sassy girl who answered the phone had too thick of a skull to understand my frustration. She claimed to be the one who made the pizza and insisted they would not redo it! After consulting with her manager, they agreed to redo the order and I added on breadsticks with extra dipping sauce. Read moreI never received my order from this place. I called the store and they said that they could not deliver it because no one answered the phone. (I was out in front of my house with my dog, so I did not answer the phone.) I told them they do not need a phone number when they have my address and they have delivered to my house dozens of times before. It appears that they did not even try to deliver the food. They just called, did not get an answer, and then just returned the food to the store.
I asked them to send the food over as soon as possible. They would not. After a few minutes on the phone getting no closer to getting my food, they transferred me to the manager. I told the manager that it was unacceptable to not deliver food because they could not reach someone on the phone, especially when they have the address and GPS and they have come to my house dozens of times before. I told him to send the food offer ASAP because we had already been waiting 1.5 hours.
The manager claimed I was threatening him (by asking him to do his job by correctly). He then told me I would get nothing form the store and hung up on me.
