LOL Burger Bar - Upper Westside (Atlanta) — Restaurant in Atlanta

I took my kiddies for the Krabby Patty meal. We drove 45 minutes to get there. Upon arriving there it was an hour wait. They didn't have any efficient system set up to meet the demand of people's orders for the Krabby Patty. They had 1 cashier up front. I have three children, I ordered the Krabby Patty Meal $16.99 (which was expected because it's a specialty meal) the 3 kids had a burger and fry meal, and two kiddie chicken tenders meals which were $8.99 a piece. I was appalled that upon ordering the kiddie meals and my Krabby Patty meal the drinks were all sold separately for an extra added $3.00. The menu had no wings and no shakes. My total came up to $65.00. I was on the verge of just taking them to Chick Fil A but we stayed since we came all that way. As we waited they had us listening to slow jams from the 90s and 2000s which just did not set the atmosphere for a restaraunt. As some of us waited many other customers walked in to order their food but walked out because the wait was so long. In the meantime I had to take my little girl to use the restroom. We walk around the narrow hallway to the back of the restaraunt, the floor becomes disgusting and sticky and there's boxes blocking the hallway in the corner to get to the bathrooms. The bathroom was so disgusting. She had to use it really badly. I contemplated taking her somewhere else outside of the restaurant, next door there's a cigar lounge which you could smell the cigars in the restaraunt, and across the street was a gas station. Neither option was a choice. The floor in this bathroom was so sticky w dried up p.iss on the floor, the walls look like they hadn't been cleaned in I don't know how long. The sink, disgusting, had black mold around the caulk areas and the inside of the sink was extremely dirty with black streaks and burger suace splattered. We all had to touch the same paper towel roll to dry our hands which was located on the back of the toilet. It looked like they hadn't cleaned that bathroom in 3 days. By this point both my daughter and I are quite disgusted by the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food still hadn't come out yet and they were complaining they were ready to go home. Our food never came as a party after us got their food. I went up to the lone cashier and asked him where our food was, so he went to the back to ask. He stayed back there for a while, another couple came in and we were all just awkwardly standing there looking at an empty cash register counter. He finally comes back out quickly with my burger in hand and the kids food and was like you're up. And im like well yeah, you just went back there and told them to fix the meals as we were forgotten about. Then he asks "uh, what kind of drinks yall had?" Im like look at the receipt you're supposed to know. (I thought these things, didn't say it out loud) but I was perplexed atp. So i told him our drinks and he grabbed them out of the refrigerator. I gave the food 4 stars because although the burgers did not disappoint, the chicken tenders were small and over cooked and should've come with a drink, especially it being a kids meal.I was expecting Long Horns/TGI Fridays type of tenders and they were these mediocre tiny tenders for this to be a specialty restaraunt that tauts good burgers. All of the food should be the same across the board for the prices they charge. I ate the burger there but finished the rest of my food in the car. I was simply ready to go. I finally drank the lemonade I ordered and it too was the cheap, powder, stivia sugar drink. My eldest daughter ordered the strawberry lemonade and said it tasted weird. Like serve homemade lemonade if you're going to charge the premium prices that you charge. Serve quality drinks and tenders, clean the bathroom and care about what your restaraunt looks like, have a better serving system for high traffic orders. I see why they call it lol because the food they served me has to be a joke, i had a very unsatisfactory experience here and wish 0 stars was an option. My friend ordered lunch for us here via Doordash. We were told on the app that it would take about 15-25 minutes for our order to be ready for pickup. We arrived at the restaurant after the recommended time and our food was not ready. Ok cool that wasn’t a problem as they did have a sign explaining how everything was made fresh to order. So we ended up waiting an additional 15-20 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the 10 piece with half lemon pepper/hot honey. Unfortunately i didn’t look at my order prior to Lea the restaurant as the counter staff bagged the plate up and i didn’t think to check prior to leaving. So imagine my surprise when i opened my bag and pull out A plate full of wings burnt and charred to a crisp. I was thinking maybe they are smoked style wings or something idk but I’ll try them just to see because it’s no was i was actually served wings this black that was known i wouldn’t be able to consume. Tried them and they were as disgusting as they look all i could taste is burnt even with all the season they tied to throw on top of it ad if it would help. So i went back to the restaurant to make them aware of this concern. Honestly i would have loved to have just gotten my money back at this point but because it was paid through 3rd party that was another issue. So i was told that the order could be remade and wings only take 12 minutes to cook. So i wanted for the remake (2nd batch) which took about 15-20 minutes to be completed. I did see this order prior to leaving the restaurant and they were lighter in appearance and at least recognizable as wings however once again when i arrived to my destination and actually tried the wings they were still not appetizing at all there was still burnt ends of the wings and this batch had virtually no lemon pepper flavor on it. (SN: My friend provided a possible explanation as to the burnt wings which was that they were cooked while still frozen causing the outside to burn prior to the inside being cooked), which makes sense to me. I didn’t bother going back to the establishment a second time as i was beyond annoyed at this point and had no desire for anything else that would possibly come out of this kitchen. Pro tip: always check your food prior to leaving...

👏The reply really wasn't helpful, perhaps a small recommendation to your closing time should be posted last call like a bar, the kitchen closes and register about 8:40 to 8:45pm, had someone walked in at 8:45 another " NEW HOPEFUL CUSTOMER" we would not know this. I did state the burger was tasty.

■ Interrupted my evening to get to this place sense it closes at 9, we entered late 815ish there was a family waiting for their order and not sure how long they had been there waiting for their order however, their order was completed just when our was and they had a hiccup and they too were not happy and both orders were received literally 17 minute's before 9:00 pm, well let me get the second LOL meaning LAUGH OUT LOUD out the way🤣 ■ Decided to check the order....glad I did Condiments asked for not in the bag Missing an order of French fries Order 2 Lemonade's ( only gave me 1, had to ask for the other lemonade) ■ I decided to taste a french fry, while waiting on the other french fry order missing. I've never seen a person freak out about eating in a place, that allows sit down to eat. Dude says, you can't eat that here, we are closing right now, this was 15 minutes before closing and I had asked to order another item but was informed that the register is locked because of closing, its 15 minutes before closing ???? ■ Then this small size guy, opens the register and it looks like he was pulling the register. ■ Now to the first joke, they were out of ANYTHING THAT'S MADE WITH ICE CREAM ■ WHO makes a Dbl cheeseburger with 1(ONE) slice of cheese 🤔 The single cheeseburger the buns were soggy, but the burger itself was tasty, very glad I chose to eat inside my truck outside. The staff had walked outside the restaurant and locked the doors exactly at 9:00⚫️ That was our very first and very last visit....
