By far, the best vegan burger I’ve tasted @missionburgerco! Every dish just hit different. The vibes were immaculate and the owners are some of the best in the restaurant biz. I felt like I was at my homies crib having a burger. Definitely go see my boy Isaac and hit up @missionburgerco! . . . #atlanta #atlantaeats #MissionBurgerCo #plantbased #veganrestaurant

This place has been all the rage in the Vegan Atlanta scene since they first opened. I find my fellow vegans tend to be a bit hyperbolic when a new spot opens so I took the overwhelming amount of praise this place was receiving with an oversized grain of salt. After all, vegan burger joints are a dime a dozen these days and most of them are doing damn near the same thing with the same ingredients. How good could Mission Burger actually be? Well, I am happy to report that Mission Burger earns all of the praise it receives and then some. I've been here 4 or 5 times since they opened and I've never had anything that was less than "very good:, with most things reaching "holy crap, this is AMAZING" level. For context, I've been vegan nearly 18 years, I travel for a living and I've eaten at a ton of vegan spots all over the country. My favorite keeps changing but the things that really stand out to me are The Steak Sandwich, The BBQ Brisket Burger, The Chicken Caesar Wrap, and their Breakfast Sandwich (currently rotated off the menu, sadly). The service is always excellent, friendly, and efficient. I love that they source most of their grab-no-go options (drinks, baked goods, etc...) from local businesses like Flour and Time, Jamie's Cookie Dough, Southern Sweets, and more. I've even found a few locally produced sodas that I didn't even know existed before. You can tell that despite having their original location in Austin TX that they really want to be a part of, and support, the local community. If you've read this far, what are you waiting for? Give this place a shot!

I just checked them out yesterday after all of the rage on the Vegan Atlanta FB and it definitely lived up to the hype. I brought two non-vegans with me and they enjoyed it as well! We ordered 3 different items so I got to try quite a few options. We got the mushroom bacon burger, the steak sandwich, and the bbq brisket plate. Everything was delicious! I was kind of forced to get the BBQ plate because I wanted to get the brisket sandwich, but not being a fan of impossible burgers I wanted the one that comes on with the plate (for whatever reason the plate brisket sandwich does not include the impossible burger on it). However I was not allowed to just order the sandwich and had to order the entire plate which came with a double order of mac n cheese since they were out of coleslaw (so they can make substitutions but i can't...*side eye*). With that being said the mac and cheese was very good, and I really enjoyed the brisket sandwich. I probably would not order that plate again simply because I do NOT want to eat all that food and I have self control issues...The mushroom bacon burger was delicious and it was done with impossible, and the steak sandwich was down with another type of "meat", also delicious. Their chocolate chip cookie was so good and if you like really sweet ice cream then their soft serve is for you! Overall a great experience, the owner and staff are very kind, and I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches/burgers. There are a LOT of options!

Absolutely outstanding! 🍔 🌱 This cute corner spot has convenient parking plus adorable indoor and outdoor dining areas. Relax at a high top or table in the sun or shade on this calm Atlanta corner, or cozy up in a ray of sunshine through their beautiful windows at one of their indoor tables. The music playing inside and out adds to the chill vibe. Every staff member is so friendly! They welcome you in and can answer any questions you have about the menu. The iPad to order actually enhances the experience because it has pictures of each menu item and allows you to select all your customizations. But the order tablet is right at the front counter and the staff guides you through the process. I think they mix technology and personable service really well here. Finally the FOOD! Satisfying, comforting, diner style classics done perfectly. The fries are golden and crisp, but still perfectly fluffy. The burger buns are soft but sturdy, with a glossy sheen and the perfect bite. Their pickles are 10/10, the perfect thickness and freshness to offset the richness of the sandwich. I tried the grilled onions on their mission burger, and they were deliciously smoky, sweet, and savory. They smoke their vegan meats in house! Unheard of! If you dine on the patio you can see the smoker! I tried the shaved pastrami and it was paper thin, full of spices and so juicy. The lemon pepper chicken sandwich was thick, tender, and crispy, balanced perfectly with the sauce and toppings. The refrigerated selection is curated with care. The drink selection leans heavily local, with unique and regional flavors that make your meal feel extra special. Something about a fancy soda and a greasy sandwich always hits the spot. There are also cookies from a local fully vegan bakery. It’s awesome to see support for other plant based businesses. I can’t wait to try their new milkshakes! They have a soft serve machine in-house too. Just try it! Vegans and non-vegans love...
