I'll start with saying that I'm not a "bubble tea connoisseur" & maybe that's why we struggled a bit. We didn't order any of the food but it smelled great & the options looked tasty! You order at the counter if you're paying with cash or you utilize the kiosk if you're paying with a card. At least that's how it was when we went today (2-20-2025) around 2pm. The 2 staff we saw seemed to be busy as they had lots of To Go orders & several customers waiting. But everything came out very quickly & nobody seemed to be waiting for long or at least didn't seem frustrated about their wait time. The dinning room was very clean & organized. They had a great patio space too but it was very cold & windy, so I expect that during nicer weather it would get a lot of attention.
I struggled with ordering our teas as we used the kiosk & it asked questions that I'd never been asked before at other shops. Questions like medium or large with add-ons (with price increases) were shown clearly & made sense to me, but I got a little lost when it asked about "sweetness level: 50%-75%-100%". I was also thrown off that at every other shop I've been to, the drink was made to order, in that the fruit was pulled from a fridge station (think like a Subway setup where the different bowls of fruit, boba & jellies are kept). Here, they had the fruit & some sauces in cups already in a tall fridge with a glass door. It could mean that they simply prep their most popular items beforehand & it saves time & gets the orders out quickly. From a serving standpoint I completely understand that. But I found it limiting as a customer in that I wasn't able to change my style of bubbles easily - at least not through the kiosk. And I admit, I probably could have asked one of the staff to stop to help me, but I didn't think it through at the time. I put all that to say, if you're brand new to Boba then you might need to get some insight before coming here: what is boba, what's the difference between juice-milk-yakult-etc. I thought I knew but you live & learn. Our drinks were fine but we honestly couldn't really tell the difference between our two flavors. If I didn't know then I'd have thought they were the same drink. I had a large Rose tea with added Lychee (I prefer the popping boba & double the amounts but that wasn't made clear on the menu or kiosk options). And my daughter ordered the Hawaiian Tea. We both did them with light ice & "50%" sweetness. So maybe if we had gone 100% sweetness then we'd really notice a flavor difference..?? I don't know. Again, they were good but not my favorite of teas we've ever had. Maybe next time I'll just push through & ask to speak with a person to get better insight on the...
Read moreI'm sad to say this, but this place is extremely bad. Came here with a group of friends after watching a movie at regal atlantic station and decided to get some tea/chicken as a group. When we first came in that night we had fresh dose of a heavy smell that should not have been there(friends told me it was cabbage). This already put me off but we decided to stick through it since they had outdoor seats. However it got worse when we ordered our items. Overall the tea didn't fit the bare minium of the asking price and was generally just lackluster. And the worst offender of the night and the item that made me actually post this review was the garlic spicy chicken. I don't know what in the world was happening in the back when this was made but I'll say this, that chicken felt like it was cooked hours in advance and was made horribly. Dont even get me started on the sauce they used, there was literally no garlic flavor at all and to even say it was spicy; blasphemous. I even got some sauce that was defined as spicy so I can dip my chicken into it (2 dollars!!) and it was horrible. The worst part was that I woke up 2 times that night ready to throwup what I had here. I'll be honest I don't know how this spot has 4.1 average rating if what I got last night was the average quality thats expected. Also just wanted to say I'm not really the type to even leave reviews but this place was so bad and the rating disparity vs the actually quality of items I got last night made me have to leave a review here. If the owners read this I really hope you make plans to improve the general quality of items your place provides out as well try to resolve that heavy cabbage smell when first entering this...
Read more$24 dollars for nasty food that’s not worth it. Disgusted by the quality of how they gave me the food I don’t know if they have to go all the way to a glacier or if they have some fancy type of ice but they gave me no type of ice compred to a normal bubble tea place. Literally 8 icecubes. The Korean chicken…. Some were straight up room temperature/“cold” and other were Luke warm. the sauce was not Good because it didn’t truly mix with the chicken wings. You know the wings need to be hot so the sauce can incorporate with the entire chicken wings.
1st time was ehhh alright, but the nice Asian lady who helped me out was the reason why I came the second time but honestly not the best place to eat. And the check is just a total. I don’t know if it’s just me but the reason why I ask for a check is so I can see the individual items I ordered.
Also I ordered a large boba tea and I’m sure I was charged and that’s why they didn’t want to give me an actual receipt. They gave me a so call medium.
Got my order wrong basically and the food was not good literally I was planning on throwing it out but I saw a homeless lady and gave it...
