I love the food. Always prepared fresh. Sometimes I request delivery even though I live within walking distance from the restaurant. Once I placed an order for delivery and a few items were missing upon arrival. I called back the number the delivery driver called me from when he arrived at my front door to let him know my order wasn't delivered in its entirety. But he cursed me out before I got a chance to say anything and said I had the wrong number and rudely flashed me (ended the call). No problem I said to myself. I contacted the restaurant and spoke with management about my order. He apologized and said my order will arrive shortly. So guess who had to return to my house? Lol. He called me (deliveryman) when he returned with the remaining order that HE LEFT BEHIND DUE TO HIS ERROR! He then realized I called and pretty much was Bambi caught up in my headlights. But I didn't receive an apology for being disrespectful towards me...but asked me for a tip! Ha! I sure did give him a tip....gave him two actually. As I reached inside my pocket for the bronze coin I had, I guess he thought I was going to give him the type of currency that folds and had the biggest smile...long story short I told him he looks much better when he smiles despite the discoloration of what he had left and toothfairy đ§đœââïž never replaced. I added he needs to be more careful when speaking with someone, he could gain more tips by being friendlier and more respectful. But because of the rudeness I received, I hope the verbal tip was taken seriously and helps, and as I reached my arm out to give him the that same bronze coin he really thought was a dollar bill or something he held his hand out and I dropped the penny in his hand and walked away! Before he could finish his remarks and before calling me out my name, my husband walked outside and a quick sound of silence filled the night air. I still have a 4 star rating because I enjoy the food and I'm sure that delivery dude will not deliver another fortune cookie from here...
Read moreIn all my years of eating at restaurants, this has to be the worst experience I have so far. A few years back we use to come to City Café and have excellent food as well as excellent service with a comfortable environment. Some years have passed since we had come back. One night while we were in the area, we decided to go to City Café to grab something to eat with it being so late. When we got there the City Café sign was posted and it looked like they were still open for business. We walked in and were shocked at how it looked. We couldn't believe we were in the same place that we were in years ago. It looked run down and full of thugs and prostitutes. As we sat down, a menu was given to us with Lucky Buddha on it full of Chinese food orders. They also gave us an menu with what seemed to be American food as well. A friend of mines ordered breakfast and I ordered a veggie burger with fries. While we were sitting there you constantly had all these thugs and prostitutes coming into the business. At one of the tables there was a gentleman who had his head down on the table the whole time we were there. As our food came, and we began eating, immediately both of us looked at each other with disgust. I have had a lot of veggie burgers, but this had to be the worst one I have ever had. It tasted horrible. My friend was trying to put frozen butter on his pancakes along with having a nasty omelet that he didn't care for. The last straw for me was looking at the guy laying his head down on the table, when he got up he had left vomit on the table and no one even bothered to clean up. I was through and promised to never come back. A place like that next to the Georgia tech campus is very dangerous. It is so sad how it has...
Read moreVery rude customer service. I ordered food for delivery while I was at school, I didn't have any cash on me so I paid with my card over the phone. When the delivery guy came he asked me to pay with cash again and I explained that I had already paid with my card over the phone. Then he called the restaurant to let them know, the guy he spoke to said its okay. When he got off the phone my guess is he didn't understand what his superior said and then he asked me to show him my card I told him I didn't have the physical card on me but I have a picture of my card on my phone, which I brought out and showed him I told him I could also show my ID, to match the name on the card. He didn't acknowledge me, but got out a piece of paper and began writing down my card details, I was so confused as to why he was doing this because this is a security risk, and delivery food places usually ask for ID to match the name on the receipt. So I grabbed my phone from him and he yelled that he won't give me the food which I already paid for if he didn't write my card details. This time I called the restaurant and they told him he had to write my card details down because it's their policy. I was really confused then, the delivery guy literally came to the door of his car to push me away and close the car door and was yelling you're crazy you're crazy.. He then drove off with my food. Ladies and gentlemen, this how I lost $17 worth of food I had already paid for. I'll definitely not be buying food from here ever again. I think Asians are rude people in general. Stay away from lucky Buddah and...
