I want to start by expressing that my visits to Melt Kitchen have generally been enjoyable experiences. My go-to item has consistently been the "Big Time Bagel," which I've ordered numerous times with great satisfaction. However, due to time constraints, I recently decided to start ordering via GrubHub. Regrettably, my experiences with GrubHub deliveries of the "Big Time Bagel" have been rather disappointing due to their inconsistency. On multiple occasions, my delivered bagel has arrived with missing ingredients, leaving me upset. I initially believed these mistakes were isolated incidents, so I gave it another try, only to face the same issue. Frustrated, I even added a note to my order requesting cancellation if any ingredients were missing, but my latest delivery still fell short of my expectations. It's disheartening to give a 2-star review, especially since I've always encountered friendly and accommodating staff during my in-store visits. Unfortunately, the quality of these delivered meals doesn't compare to the in-store experience. OH MY GOODNESS!! I had the pleasure of renting the Airbnb right across the street from O4W Market. The market as well as Melt were clutch for the weekend. We literally ate at Melt all three days of the weekend (sometimes more than once🫣) The food, service, and vibe are all top notch. We even ate inside the Market, right at the counter. So I will list everything we devoured over the weekend, and just know that EVERYTHING was delicious 😋 Lentil Soup (even if you weren’t thinking of it as an option, GET IT!) I ate here today and I had the shrimp quesadilla and it was delicious but it didn’t take not even 5 mins after I stepped out for my stomach to erupt and I mean not even 5 min . I walked over to the dog park across the street and I couldn’t even keep anything in . I had to throw up in a garbage can, it was the absolute worst pain that I’ve ever experienced. I was throwing up constantly, causing a scene, nothing about it was demure or mindful. I lived 20 min away and I didn’t think I was going to make it. The pain subsided on the ride home but an hour into me being home thinking it’s over , it strikes again. The same pain , I threw up again but thankfully in the comfort of my home . I took some Pepto-Bismol and I felt extremely better but then THAT SUBSIDED and now I’m on my bathroom floor after throwing up again. I don’t know if or when it will strike again...
