Sugar Baby Ice Cream — Restaurant in Atlanta

The ice cream was basic, but it was worse because the service was pretty horrible. The wait staff seemed extremely annoyed just taking our order, and there were only 2 employees working on this Saturday night. They also took about 20 minutes to serve a milkshake and ice cream, which i wouldn’t have minded but paired with the horrible service, super high prices, and basic taste, this turned out to be a negative experience for me. I definitely would not come back or recommend. The wait staff also told us at 11:30pm that we had to leave because he had to start putting up chairs. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I knew this wasn’t true and he just wanted to close shop early. It was pretty rude and lazy in my opinion. Lastly, the business replying to reviews here defending themselves is a bit weird and off putting, and their promises are seemingly untrue because I saw another review complaining about the store being understaffed with two employees on a Saturday night, and the owner replied this won’t happen again, but it...

I do not usually leave reviews , but I felt like I needed to . This is my first time ever trying out this place ,( and unfortunately last time ) the energy was wayyy off . I had no idea where to place my order . I was also not greeted when I came inside . I went to the register and asked if I order here and the woman behind the counter responded “yeah” with an attitude and straight face . Nothing else . Just blank stare waiting for me to say something . There was a customer that came after me that said they were new as well and didn’t know what to get , but the worker just didn’t seem to care to elaborate the flavors or what’s flavors to try etc . I’m just leaving this review for management to know that you will miss out on a lot of business ; if the workers there continue with the energy they portray and do not learn to engage with customers and help build this business by properly selling the product ( ice cream ) . I placed an order online for the $18 milkshake and arrived at the location to pick it up, only to wait for an hour before receiving my order. To my disappointment, I was given a regular milkshake, which was similar to the $10 option I could have chosen. When I approached the staff to address the issue, I was met with an unhelpful response. The girl claimed that they were too busy to redo my milkshake and insisted that what they gave me was correct. I inquired about the toppings and other additions, but she simply said they should have been in the bag, despite the fact that they were missing. After a frustrating argument that lasted around 5 minutes, she reluctantly added the already made milkshake.
