The worst experience I ever had at any Subway. I ordered 4 sandwiches online, was told order will be ready at 1:30. I arrive at that time and I hear "that's his problem for ordering online" mumbeld from one of the workers as I walk in. I wait 5 minutes and then I inform the lady working that I had a pickup order online, as the instructions say to do so. She rudely says "were working on it". I then patiently wait another 10-15 minutes and politely ask my order status again. That's when this older worker, who I guess was the manager on duty, starts yelling at me that they are busy , had big orders, and it will be ready when it's ready." Meanwhile people are leaving the line and walking out. The guy then yells, "I wish one of you people would work one day at this job." I finally get my order and of course it was not correct. Plus they skimped big time on the meat. I understand things can get backed up and orders can be a little behind, but this was ridiculous. Read moreI originally order the Turkey Cali. After being toasted they were applying the avocado but it wasn't sliced. They said this location doesn't do sliced avocado. I told them they should put up a sign. The guacamole (that is what it was) was so brown it was disgusting. The employee at the register told me it was opened today and that was due to oxidization. I know what oxidization does to guacamole. They need to keep it in tight lid container throughout the day. It was just left there exposed for the entire day so what did they expect would happen to it. I told them I would not eat that so they made me the boss sandwich. The bread was stale and I don't know if the ingredients were that fresh. It just didn't taste right. The staff were friendly but I believe they are cutting corners regarding the quality of the food that will run this subway into the ground. It was never great but now under new owner/management it is even worse. I was thinking about eating in but it seems the A/C is broken in there as well. Read moreDecided not to honor coupons that were still good til 8/20/22. Made my Sandwich then claimed it was a computer malfunction and couldn't accept eventhough it scanned. I asked if they would keep physical copy, she raised her voice and said she would get fired. Then I asked if she would call the store operator, she refused with a little bit of a louder voice that time. I decided to leave. I suspect that this employee had Marching orders not to accept the Corporate issued coupons(to public) to maximize profits and the walk-in traffic the coupons created for the Atlantic Beach Subway store. Appeared to me to be an unethical way to not honor the Corporate brand, embarrass customers, and extort money out of agrreable/unsuspecting customers. I will never patronize that Subway again.
