Came into the Resturant with about 3 parties there (1 eating and 2 needing to order). I got in line to order and an older woman provided us with menus and asked us to sit down and she will be over to take our order since we were dining in. We waited about 20 minutes, watching other newer parties being taken care of so I went up to the register to order. Another party was complaining about their order being made incorrectly and the older gentleman advised them that when you change your order multiple times, that’s when mistakes happen. The customer then responded by, i never changed my order. With that being said, when I ordered I spoke clearly, slowly and watched the younger woman type in and write each individual order. First item ordered- 16 oz strawberry pineapple smoothie. The younger woman looks at me and says banana. I then say no politely and repeated what I had just said. About ten mins pass of ordering and trying to figure out how to get their register to take a store purchased gift card, we sit down and wait. Two parties come in after us and order drinks and smoothies. We still didn’t get our smoothie. I advise the older gentleman that we are still waiting on our smoothie. He asked me what kind- I state strawberry pineapple 16oz. I receive the smoothie- strawberry banana. At this point not worth the effort to let him know that it is incorrect. Another 30 minutes waiting for our food (I ordered 2 pancakes, a side of bacon and sausage and 2 breakfast sandwiches). Food comes out and everything was as ordered. Just beware of slow service, unsanitary conditions (gentleman took bagels out of a case for sandwiches with his bare hands, younger female picked her nose and walked...
Read moreHad a really uncomfortable experience here. The owner asked my boyfriend if he was Chinese and claimed he looked just like his wife. Later, his wife came in, and he told her to show us a picture of her son. He said her son looked so much like my boyfriend that he had to do a double take when we first walked in. She showed us a picture, and it looked NOTHING like my bf except that they were both Chinese. He kept asking my boyfriend questions about if he had ever been to China, telling him about his own time in China, and basically making it very clear that all Asian people are the same to him. My bf was very gracious about it, and I wasn't going to leave a review, but after seeing other reviews warning POC to steer clear, I decided to do the same. The only upside is the bagels were really good and the lady behind the counter was really nice! She gave us great service. The latte was terrible though! I ordered an iced latte and asked that he add only half the normal amount of syrup. It was so sweet it was undrinkable. I ended up throwing it away because none of us could stand...
