Arrived with place about empty, asked for a table at the windows but told no window seating w/o reservations. (No problem) We were seated right near the kitchen/service area. Server was good initially. Took drink orders and our dinner order same time. We went with pizza, since the food is very pricy (steak 70 dollars etc - BTW, even kobe beef isn't worth that much). Bread came, and waters. About 1/2 hour later our pizza came. Still hadn't gotten our drinks despite maybe only 25% of the place full and waiters chatting it up and standing around. Finally got our drinks. Pizza was good, 26 dollars for decent pizza for 2. BTW, after at least an hour, same capacity, empty tables at the windows but we sat far away, many empty tables between us and the view. Remained that way until we left another 1/2 hour later. Our water was gone about 1/2 way through our meal, no one refilled it the entire time. I usually don't complain about that but for what they purport to be and priced for (fine dining) the experience doesn't match up. No table cloths etc. It is a WAY overpriced average chain-level restaurant with service to match. Glad I didn't waste money on a steak. Would...

We came to Longos for a birthday dinner. I made a reservation but it was dead when we went. We got there about 7 on a Sunday. They never even pulled up my reservation or note about the special occasion. The waitress was super sweet and cute in her short pink hair 💜 We let her know about the birthday and she did a great job making him feel special! Wine served at first was not what was ordered and a new glass was brought. Food was good and not good. We had 6 of us, 3 of us got our meals together. 2 were hot one was cold. Then we had difficulty getting the waitress to address the cold dish. After about 10+ minutes more dinners came out (one was a duplicate of a dish that had already been served, not sure why it took 10 more minutes) and we addressed the cold dish. $40 chicken parm should not be cold! We also made sure to ask to get an entire new meal not just a reheat. Of course a new meal took awhile. Strangley management never came to apologize which is typical is most restaurants. We tried to make the best of it and enjoyed our time. We even were brought a cannoli with a candle and we all sang to celebrate. I wish there weren't the mistakes especially with how expensive...

Was there on Sunday night, first thing I noticed when we sat at our table there was hardened dry pasta gravy all over the salt shaker, no big deal they gave us another. This is the first time I where I went to an Italian restaurant and there was no bread given to the table, a big no no for me being Italian. The appetizer was four small cheese bread slices with marinara, the sauce was good not so much for the bread sticks. The Longo salad was good and the Caesar salad was real good. My wife had the vodka rigatoni which was good (should have come with at least a small meatball). I ordered the linguiniI alle vongole and it was completely tasteless it was like eating pasta with salt and pepper not even a hint of seafood flavor, I asked my wife to taste it to make sure I wasn't crazy and she didn't taste seafood at all. I thought about sending it back but decided not to. I make this at home and use olive oil, garlic, wine, lemon and oregano, I don't think they use any of those. The tiramisu was very good the cannolis were small and just ok. I Don't know if we...

This feels like a sports bar combined with a chain Italian restaurant. There’s TVs and blackjack tables inside. Service was very, very slow. We had to ask for waters and were rarely checked up on. I’m unsure if our server had little knowledge of the drink menu or if the cocktails were just that awful. Our server told us the 9 streeter wasn’t that sweet. When I got it, it tasted like lemonade with 5 cups of sugar added. We also had the ameretto sour which again, was sickly sweet. Food was average/below average. The penne vodka was decent although way too much cream. The meatball on the meatball salad was amazing and the best thing we ate. I recommend just getting the meatball side, as it was not worth it to get the salad part which was very under dressed. Cavatelli bolognese tasted like pasta with hamburger helper. The antipasto plate was good, but the meats and cheeses tasted on the cheaper side. Overall, I was disappointed and would not recommend or return.

Food is excellent, service is good. Really enjoyed the Chicken Parm the first trip and the Gnocchi Sorrentina on the 2nd trip. Only issue is that they play the music so loud on Friday and Saturday nights, you can't have a normal conversation while dining. Dined there on two Saturday nights...May 29th and June 19th. No difference in volume after letting the server and the manager know of our displeasure on the first trip. Knowing they have had plenty of feedback since then, We figured they would have corrected the issue but no. Obviously, they want to set a "club feeling" to the place which would make sense after 10pm when they have dancing. Makes no sense during dining hours prior to 10pm.

Jerry Longo’s is an excellent up-scale restaurant at Bally’s. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and I really loved it. The sauce was more sophisticated than your typical marinara sauce and blended in very well with the tender chicken. The service was also quick and our server made great conversation. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant with views great views of the Boardwalk and oldies music playing in the background. The prices are high, but this is Atlantic City and the overall experience was well worth it. This is a great restaurant overall and it has my full recommendation.
