Yeah, so, I was on a trip to AC the last few days and during a midnight Tuesday stroll through the Ballys complex into Cesar's Palace, I found my man, Augustus standing in place. I figured a few pics wouldn't hurt, but I discovered a somewhat busy sight in front of my eyes instead, I saw food and bright lights. It's 1 am but the air was electric. I see prepared foods, just waiting for their time to heat up and shine. I see pastries, donuts, muffins and detectables irresistible to most hardened souls. I see Gelato and ice cream and feel impeccable jealousy for wanting so much of it at that point... However, my selfishness desired only a reasonably priced soda. 2 of them. But, my curiosity saw a massive rice Krispy treat slathered with pink frosting and more marshmallows on top and thankfully, logic was used. My inebriated sense of mind found a new spot to frequent. I would visit twice more on Wednesday and get another rice Krispy treat, a Black and White Cookie, 2 big cookies and a few sodas. I will probably buy a tub of Gelato next time and get one of those pepperoni pizzas. I will try to stay at Caesars. I'll probably patronize this business 6 times but every penny has been worth it. Their customer service is most exemplary. And their foods are impossible to say no. The best place to stumble across at 1 am if you're looking for food and drinks.

Over last 10 years, wherever we have been to Caesar’s, we have stopped by this store for some reason. They have excellent collection of bakery goods, desserts, ice creams, hot and cold drinks. They have deli sandwiches too but I have never tried them. I do love their ice-creams and bakery foods. Their stuff are pricey, 2x-3x compared to a suburban store, but its the premium for being inside Caesar’s. They are a lifeline for a lot of casino and hotel guests, during early morning and late night hours. I hope they keep doing well and remain open for a long time.

After playing some poker games and dinner, it was time for dessert- This place is for both desserts and breakfast, 24 hrs open. You can visit this café if you happen to be near Boardwalk Hall. Most guests find that you can eat tasty breakfast sandwiches, bacon, and rolls here. We had one cake and gelato. $10 for one red velvet cake $7 - 2 scoop Gelato Both were okay, but not that great. like 3/5 types. There are a couple of tables for sitting, right at the foot of the gigantic Ramsey's Grill restaurant.

i am 46 years old and I LOVE ice cream. this was absolutely THE WORST ice cream, let alone gelato, that I have ever had in my entire life. it was watered down with no flavor. it LOOKED a thousand times better than it tastes. gelato is supposed to be dense, this was garbage. first of all, they ran out of small cups, so they only sold medium cups. they wouldn't put a small amount in a medium cup. our 3 year old niece could figure out how to do that. second of all, the gelato has all these lovely accoutrements mixed in, like twix bars, cookies, spinkles, etc. I asked for a piece of the twix bar and they SAID IT WAS ONLY FOR DECORATION. figured out why, because they didn't want you to taste something that was actually good because you MIGHT actually realize how bad their product is in comparison. it was literally mixed in with the "gelato" (I refuse to call it gelato). third of all, none of us could finish ours because it was really that bad. I do not ever waste food, but I wouldn't have even given this to a homeless person who was starving because it wouldn't be fair to the homeless person. there was a big group of us talking to other people who got some and it was literally "oh no you have to try the caramel, it is far worse than your hazelnut is" "no, hazelnut is definitely the worst" etc etc. let me elaborate. take 1 jar of nutella, 2 jars of water, and probably 3 jars of crisco, AND IT WOULD HAVE TASTED BETTER THAN THIS GARBAGE. thousands of people in Italy are crying right now about this place, and praying to the Pope to get the place shut down.

I want my $8 and 20 minutes of...

Stayed at Caesars for the weekend and decided to stop here for a quick bite before hitting the road. Saw they had a breakfast sandwich menu option so decided to try and order a bacon egg and cheese on a wrap. The lady tells me that sorry that wraps is not an option…. OK, there’s clearly pre made sandwiches with wraps in the window for purchase, but ok…a wrap isn’t on the menu to be made. Fine. I then asked for a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel with salt pepper ketchup. ( A Jersey staple) The SAME lady proceeds to tell me that salt pepper and ketchup are available at the condiment station behind me. SERIOUSLY? How freaking hard is it to put salt, pepper, and ketchup for me in a sandwich that you are about to make for me. I get my sandwich and head to the condiment station and Lo and behold there’s no pepper. I go back and THIS SAME LADY goes to where my sandwich was made and grabs a handful of pepper packets. So now not only could the salt pepper and ketchup be added to my sandwich, I’m now expected to go and restock it for you. The complete and utter laziness of this employee is mind boggling. As I turn around to go place the pepper packets in the station, I hear a customer ask for an extra cup and a lid for the coffee she just ordered. Another worker says sorry, we will have to charge you for the cup. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! CHARGE FOR AN EMPTY CUP AND A LID?!?! This has to be a joke right? I will never, ever, eat or buy anything from this place again. I highly suggest you don't either. Ceasers should seriously consider putting this place on undercover...
