Honestly this was not really good Peruvian food, it was mediocre at best. The pollo a la brasa was good as it had Peruvian spices on it but the sides accompanied with it were not great. Not a fan of crinkle cut fries, they did not have Inca Kola in cans, only 2 L bottles. Is it really hard an expensive to get can soda of Inca Kola? Whoâs gonna drink all that soda from a 2 L Bottle? the salad is ok but not a fan of the dressing as it tasted weird, this place needs oil and vinegar as another option instead of a default single dressing. This shrimp fried rice tasted so weird. If you ask me, the shrimp was not cooked properly, it looks like they made the rice first and then put frozen shrimp on top, the texture was horrible. You need to cook shrimp separately to make sure itâs cooked right, donât just throw it last. The rice was wet and very oily. Is it so hard to get mustard in this place? Itâs a Peruvian restaurant, you are suppose to have mustard, not mayonnaise in a yellow container. I was disappointed with the lunch offered and the quality of the food, this restaurant needs to improve on its cooking and service in order to...
Read moreI went with my boyfriend for a second time and it was okay. For someone who is Peruvian and knows how to cook Peruvian food, this restaurant itâs not that great. The service was good but we waited for almost an hour for our food. The ceviche is good, the jalea is okay, the chicha way too sweet but the Cau Cau was terrible. Of course the tripe has a smell by itself but before cooking it, youâre supposed to boil it really good so the smell will go away and it would soften the tripe as well. When we tried it, the tripe smelled really funny. Luckily the server was nice to take the Cau Cau off our check. The food is pricey and to be honest, itâs not worth it unless youâre craving ceviche so bad and donât feel like...
Read moreI waited almost an hour for the waitress to bring me something I wasn't going to eat. I ordered lomo saltado with chicken, and I made it clear that I wanted chicken. After waiting about 45 minutes for my food the waitress brings out lomo saltado with steak. I bring it to her attention and she was like "oh you wanted chicken right?" and goes to the kitchen, coming out like 15 minutes later she tells me they were all out of chicken. Why couldn't she just tell me they were out instead of wasting my time? I could've went to the peruvian restaurant a few blocks down the road but I decided to give this new place a shot. At this point I didn't want anything and got up and...
