Slice Pizzeria — Restaurant in Atlantic City

I ordered food to my room through CaesarEats while I was staying at Caesars on 03/22/24 because my blood sugar was dropping, and it NEVER came!! I stay at this hotel quite frequently and order food through this app all the time and never experienced this. My card was charged right away and I got the usual order confirmation text of my order and nothing else after that. There’s no way to contact the restaurant by phone so I decided to go to the restaurant to see about my order. When I went there, the restaurant was closed and looked like it was never even open for the day. I was absolutely livid! by this time, I was so weak, because I have not eaten and was waiting for my food for almost 2 hours. I went to the front desk, which was pointless because they said there’s nothing they could do and I could only go back to the restaurant when it opened. I was checking out later on that morning, so there was no way that I would be able to. By the time I got home to Brooklyn, New York around 11 AM, I got a text now saying that my order was ready… Mind you I ordered this food around 1 AM! I replied to the text and said that they were a joke because my order never came. They just said that they apologized and will get a refund, like it wasn’t a big deal. I requested to speak with a manager, and there was no reply after that. Obviously, someone was not doing their jobs because my order was received but not worked on or delivered. They don’t seem to understand the seriousness of me not receiving my food, because of my blood sugar. If I knew my food would not have come I would’ve went downstairs and got something at Café Taza, to avoid me from feeling extremely weak. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this hotel/casino and this is completely unacceptable. This reason literally made me cancel my reservation that I had...

I need to update the review. I ordered 2 pies last weekend and they weren't as good as they used to be. I used to taste high quality tomato 🍅 sauce but now I don't. Assuming they cut the cost just like Rocco at Ocean. Quite disappointed, as such I'm deducting the stars.

Ordered online. Went to pick it up and there was a long line of people waiting to check in so we stood off to the side. Finally, someone came up so we told them we were picking up.
