We are Diamond Status with Caesars, although this was our first time staying the night at a Caesars property. The hotel's setup is unique, positioning itself differently within the Caesars brand. Booking through the Caesars website with our account, we encountered a separate check-in desk reserved for Nobu guests. A highlight was the availability of a top-notch coffee machine at the exclusive Nobu check-in area. Upon arrival, we were provided with tea and lemon-scented towels, adding a touch of luxury to the experience.
Although housed in a Caesars tower, the Nobu rooms are said to be distinct from the standard Caesars offerings. Our room was clean, as it should be given that it was either just built or renovated a few months ago.
We were disappointed by the worn condition of the furniture, particularly in a suite.
Notably, the liquor fridge was curiously empty, an unexpected oversight.
The beverage delivery staff in the casino was often considerably less friendly than any other employee, although that seems to be a theme in Atlantic City.
We were told that they offered turn down service and that all we needed to do was ensure that the Do Not Disturb light was off and it would be provided. We did not get it either night that we were there. We called down and brought this to the attention of the desk and we were given a $50 in-room dining credit. We used the credit for Gordon's Pub and Grill and had breakfast the morning that we checked out of the hotel.
The breakfast was tasty. My wife is a chef and she approved.

Read moreNobu check in closes early so you have to check in at the front desk even if you have a Nobu room reservation and the line is very long. After I went to my room, I noticed the toilet did not flush. I called front desk but no one picked up. It was cause the room phone called the Nobu check in which was closed and not the front desk check in. I had to go down and wait in line again to speak to someone about the broken toilet. They said they are out of Nobu rooms and will send someone to fix the toilet which will take about an hour (it was already 10pm) I asked if they can call after its fixed and they said they can’t because its two different groups and suggested I go check on it in an hour. I asked for the regular front desk phone number to call if it wasn’t fixed. I went up after an hour at 11pm and noticed it wasn’t fixed. I called the front desk number I received before but no one picked up so I had to go downstairs for the 3rd time and let them know. They said the maintenance person had gone home and wasn’t able to take a look. Miraculously though, they had one room left at the Nobu floor and changed rooms for me. As Nobu rooms are supposed to be high end, I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with how they took care of the situation and make the client go up and down multiple times in the late hours to get this rectified. Also the shower sprinkles water on you so it takes...
Read moreBeautiful room with plenty of space and a lovely view. The service however was extremely disappointing; no hospitality, just a vibe of "we have taken your money, but we don't want you here." For a 4-star hotel, one would expect an end-to-end experience beyond just a nice room, which Nobu certainly did not deliver.
The first front desk person we encountered was simply condescending and dismissive. She charged us an early check-in fee even though the room wasn’t ready until 30 minutes before the regular check-in time. A second front desk staff member, Martina, later helped us and removed the charge, which was kind and thoughtful.
To check in our bags while waiting for the room, we had to carry our luggage across the lobby to the bell desk. The bell attendants were chatting casually in the side room, leaving us waiting with heavy bags. Finally, when an attendant came out, he rudely demanded that I move my coffee cup from the counter for no legit reason before taking our bags.
To reach the guest room, we had to carry all our stuff on our own, marching all the way into the casino to the actual guest room tower without even a self-service hotel cart.
Perhaps it was just a day when the staff on duty were not in the best mood. However, for us, it felt like staying with a mean host who couldn’t wait for the guests to leave. NOT...
