My husband and I spent 5 days in Atlantic City and we went to the yard, at first it was good. The greeter was quick to greet and seat us, the waiter was quick to get to the table and That is where it all ended! I ordered chicken wings and fries and he ordered a burger and fries, Simple! When we got there, it was just Us in that section and then two women showed up to our left and then a couple to our right! We waited for about 15 minutes before the women showed up, they ordered, got their food, ate it for about 20 minutes. The couple next to us ordered, waited for about 15 minutes, ate it for about 15 more minutes, Finished the food sat and had a conversation and We were Still waiting for our food, Yes, Still waiting! I was ready to start trouble, my mistake Was asking my husband would he be embarrassed if I started trouble, he said Yes! The women noticed that we were still waiting and mentioned the fact that We were there Before them, the couple Also acknowledged us being there Before them! The couple also acknowledged they ordered the Same thing my husband I ordered and received before we did! At that point the lady jumped up and went to who I assume is the manager and complained about Us not getting our food a lot sooner and lo and behold 12 minutes later, here comes our food! That really made me angry, were we an Oversight, Or was it that We were the Only black customers that day and yeah I looked Or did you forget, Either way, I will never go back! 😡😡The reason I gave them these low stars is because My husband and I had worked for an event there last night for them through my husband's job, which was Party Pros, and some of their staff had racial profiles of me and my husband. They were so rude to us as soon as we walked in. They had their nose turned up at us like we disgusted them for some reason. One of the staff members we work next to acted like she didn't want to be near me, making me uncomfortable. She kept moving her purse close to her from one side of the table to the next. That was strange and uncomfortable. They judge us before they even get to know my husband and I. Yes, we are a black Muslim couple. We shouldn't have been treated with so much hatred and disrespect. They lied to my husband's boss to get a refund. One of the lies was that the wife seemed out of it, like she was high on something. I said wow. I'm a religious woman; I believe in my faith, and doing drugs or even drinking is a major sin. So, for you guys to try to slander my religion and me as a person to get back a refund doesn't seem right. They also told lies about my husband to cause him to get fired from his job, which was a shame. My husband is a hard-working man, and for you guys to lie to us is so disgusting. I never experienced anything like that before at a job like that. I will never recommend having a party there or even drinking out at that place if you are black or Muslim you will not get treated like you are human.
