Ate dinner here last night. terrible service from beginning to end. Attempted call ahead seating for 30 minutes. NO answer. We decide to still go. We get there and the wait is 35 minutes. I don’t mention the call ahead seating because my husband told me to let it go. We wait probably a little longer than 35 minutes. During the wait in the lobby, I notice 2 to 3 people at the receptionist counter and the volume on the phone is off. Three people, who left because of the now extended wait time ask, “Do you still have call ahead seating?” The answer from the little timid guy. Who identifies himself at the manager, stated yes. The man advise him that he had been calling for quite some time. Only response was, “Ya, sorry bout that.” I don’t know what corporate or head manager of the store think but to me, that’s 3 lost paying tables.
We are finally seated and we wait 20 minutes before someone come to the table, after an individual who was not our waitress noticed that we had sat a long time without even a glass of water. To shorten this up. It took 20 to 30 minutes to get our waitress to bring us anything. Total time at restaurant for two people was just over 2 hours. Other waiters and waitresses continued to handle her tables for her. It was apparent she was incapable of multitasking. She would disappear for the 20+ minutes and come back with a tray loaded with things for every table. By the time we actually got something from her. We needed something else. In addition, we rarely utilize gift cards, but we had 2 this evening as we had an anniversary and my birthday. The waitress printed out so many damn receipts, we did not know what was what. Seeing as it took our waitress 20 minutes to even bring it, my husband walked to front and advised someone we needed a manager. The manager fixed the receipts but absolutely ignored our service complaint and acted like nothing was said. He just said, “Have a good night!” No apology no attempt to make things right. Not a manager I would want to have running my business. Weak, timid and no ability to deal with conflict resolution. To put it simply he looked like a weak little boy. He ran that place poorly last night. If you saw the faces of the people at the other tables, it was obvious they had the same experience in the section as we did. Needless to say, instead of enjoying an evening out which we don’t usually get, we went home...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at LongHorn Steakhouse in Lake Orion, Michigan. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated promptly and our waitress, Genesis, was very attentive and friendly. She took the time to recommend some of the menu items and answered all of our questions.
Our food was delicious. I had the T-Bone steak, which was cooked perfectly and served with a delicious béarnaise sauce. My wife had the New York Strip, which he said was also cooked perfectly and very tender. We also shared the roasted vegetables, which were cooked to just the right texture.
Genesis was always checking in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. She even brought us a complimentary dessert, which was a delicious slice of chocolate lava cake.
Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at LongHorn Steakhouse. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great steak dinner.

Read moreSo disappointing. We haven't been out much at all as things have started to open and it was at no fault of our server (Sue) that we had such an awful experience, she was wonderful. However we came in yesterday at about 9pm after a long day of shopping and our experience was unexceptable. The host on shift was VERY RUDE to my sister in law anytime she tried to get her attention for any reason she ignored her out right. She is not rude, always used the phrase 'excuse me'. One time I even watched her make eye contact and walk away. Our steaks were wrong (mine and my husband both ordered the medium well) but his was burnt extra well and mine was so pink it was still bleeding. Our server asked us to check them and i sent mine back. When she returned (with a manager who never said a word to us) my food appeared better but the more I cut into it the more raw it was. Instead of revisiting our table the manager gave us 10% off. But im sure you could check with the server because I did not eat it just the cooked edges. She'll tell you she had to bring me several boxes because most of my food was untouched. Its disappointing to know that your staff was more interested in closing the building then addressing the guests. My husband and I personally spent over 70$ and even though we did not have a conversation with the manger and the food was unexceptable we still left a 20% tip. Ive been in the industry for 15 years and I was a restaurant manager for 10 of them and im disgusted by the way we were treated yesterday and the quality of the food we were served. I will be calling over the weekend because I like to speak to the managing partner in regards to my experience. This was simply unexceptable for people who have just returned to work and had we been a different type of table our server could have suffered in her tip from the other...
