Normally decent during the week. But stopped today for lunch, had to wait because it was very busy- no biggy since me and my 12 yo daughter expected it. When it was almost our turn to order, the staff stopped taking orders to make pizzas. Okay, sure. The poor lady in front of me was on her break from another store (in uniform) and they just ignored that, making her wait longer unnecessarily. Then scolded her to step back to order, when she just wanted a side (she was trying to politely get their attention). We continued to wait. And when it was finally our turn, I asked for two pieces and pointed.. because there was an old piece of pizza (small piece that was mostly crust) that 4 other people in front of me didn’t want. She grabbed that one first, and I said I didn’t want that piece. She yelled at me and said I can’t be picky. I said never mind and we left. 20 min wait for a rude experience. If a customer is patient and polite, the last thing staff should be is rude. I’ve been eating at sbarro for 25 years and have ALWAYS pointed to or requested fresher pieces. Especially if there’s a old/poorly made stray piece not worth $6. This staff member could just toss the bad piece and move on. Customers should not be forced to pay for food they did not ask for. Not looking forward to seeing her again. Good teaching moment- told my daughter that you don’t have to purchase something you don’t want. And we waited for lunch somewhere else, where the staff were just as...
Read moreWent to Sabaro today and I asked the gentleman working there what size pizzas do you guys sell, he looked at me like I was speaking in a foreign language, so I asked do they come in small medium or large, at that point his coworker jumped in and said it only comes in 1 size 17” which was a little too big for me, so there alternative is you can buy pizzas by the slice, so I’m again talking to the original person helping me, I asked him what’s the freshest thing out right now, he said everything is fresh, keep in mind he has about 6 different pizzas you could choose from and a oven that could maybe fit 3 at a time. So I asked him not to lie to me. (Awkward silence) so I pointed and asked if that was the freshest one out and said “sure” at that point I walked away. I had personally worked in the pizza making business for 4 years so Ik how things operate to an extent. Basically the customer service there sucked. Was really craving a nice fresh pizza but wasn’t even given the...
Read moreDisappointing Experience - Poor Service from Cashier & Staff
I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The cashier was unprofessional and seemed disinterested in assisting customers. When it was my turn, they barely acknowledged me and seemed to rush through the transaction without any courtesy or a smile. It felt like I was being a bother for simply paying for my meal.
As for the rest of the staff, it was no better. The waitstaff was slow to take our order and even slower to bring our food. At one point, I had to flag someone down to get a drink refill. It's clear that the staff could use better training in customer service. I felt more like an inconvenience than a valued guest.
Given how important good service is to a dining experience, I won't be returning anytime soon. Disappointing to see such a lack of attention to basic...
