It's not very often I leave a review. I ate here for the first time with my husband and I was starving when I walked through the door. We were seated promptly, and placed our drink order. When we we're ready, I ordered a full serving of biscuits and gravy, along with some type of breakfast platter. (I forgot the name). I couldn't wait to eat and I was thinking we we're going to be waiting a while seeing how many people were in the restaurant, to my surprise we had our food in less then 10 minutes. I was actually embarrassed at how large the portions were because again, I was clearly losing weight by the minute from being so hungry 😅. The food was hot and had good flavor, again I was satisfied. I would also like to point out that, our server Faith was very kind and courteous and had a warm welcoming smile. She checked on us often, but not so often that we couldn't enjoy our food. I even noticed her watching another servers tables and making sure that they were aware the customer hadn't yet gotten their drinks or ordered yet. She mentioned it in a way that was polite and very professional. When I asked for a refill on my orange juice she did let me know there would be a charge ahead of time for the drink which I anticipated already, however I thought was thoughtful so I wouldn't be surprised. I watched her interact with other tables and make small talk between ordering and it just felt like an overall wonderful experience. She is definitely someone you want to keep around and going places. I could actually see her owning her own restaurant in the future. My husband and I left with plenty of left overs for later and ready for a nap.
Fast service, Great food, Friendly staff. Keep up...
Read moreI parked in the handicapped spot having just had knee surgery several weeks ago. When I went in, I was walked ALL the way back to the end of the restaurant obviously limping with my cane, passing up several empty tables in which I could have been seated at. I stated my unbelief at having to walk the distance, but hostess looked back at me and kept walking. We were seated at the table second closest to the exit door! She then had the audacity to say that she knew I was upset with her but that this server needed tables and she needed to keep it even between the servers. Needless to say, the server, who was pleasant enough, had at least three tables sat at once. She was more attentive to the other tables than ours, must have heard we were “unhappy”? I ordered one egg but got two, I know that some restaurants do this. Good thing I got two as my over medium eggs were barely over easy and one was not cooked inside and inedible, since she didn’t check back with us, I just didn’t eat it, only wanted one anyway. Toast was barely warmed bread and buttered only on half of the slice. We were so excited and heard good things about this place, but for us it is one and done. We...
