Big Town Hero — Restaurant in Auburn

Food was nothing special. French dip literally tasted like a hot dog. Took them 20 minutes to make two sandwiches and we are the only ones here. They also over charged us but the employees don't know how to give a refund so now we have to sit here and wait for the owner to come figure it out which the owner isn't even here. Also pretty over priced for what you get.

Update. Waited for awhile for the owner. No communication from the employees and the owner never showed up to give us a refund.

Let's update this again...I was standing there the whole time. Yes he apologized if you call mumbling something a apology. Then he said we had to wait. After a half hour wait with zero communication since he went in the back and never came out we obviously left. Someone who gets this defensive over a bad review probably doesn't have much business sense to start with. Word of mouth is a huge factor with a new business as well as public appearance and lashing out makes you look pretty stupid. We waited for a half hour, no one said anything to us and no one ever came back out to even ask. This is my new favorite lunch spot. I think I have ordered from them over 10 times in the past 2 weeks. They have some of the most amazing bread you will ever have from a sandwich shop. I asked where they source their bread from and I found out that they bake it fresh every day. The paninis and the hot subs are amazing. I can't say much for the cold subs because I've only got one once and it was okay.

The heat definitely brings out more flavor and goodness in their sandwiches though. So go with the panini or hot sub. They were also recently robbed so they deserve a little love from the community if you're...

Ordered a French Dip Sandwich. Worst I ever had in my life. Entire Sandwich was completely soggy and greasy with butter or margarine. It was like the entire sandwich had been dunked in melted butter. Really gross. I could not even finish it. Ended up giving the rest of my sandwich to my dog. I wanted to contact store to replace it, but I ordered food just before that restaurant closed.
