Where do I start? This place was filthy, absolutely disgusting. The floor in the dining area was puddled with water and not a wet floor sign to be found. The grills and the area where the crew members stand was a mess. I came in at 11:45 a.m. August 23, 2017 during lunch rush and they had a brand new person training on the line, which should never happen during a lunch rush. I have worked at a Moe's Southwest Grill for two years and knew immediately that the entire team was not functioning well and were not communicating. The new girl made my quesadilla wrong although I told her that you don't press quesadilla tortillas because they stick to the foil when you have to swing to grill. But she didn't listen. When my food finally got made and put onto the grill she never asked if I wanted any sides or chips or anything only if it was for here or to go. At no point did they say "Welcome to Moe's" or call when they swung food to the grill. I told the girl to make my food for here because it's hot and I wanted to sit down and cool off. When I got to the register however, I was not greeted by a smile but, by a rude crew member that I thought had asked if I wanted queso or guac as a side to which I told her no, then she rudely corrected me and told me that she was asking me if I had gotten any sides and that if I had wanted some I should have asked at the beginning of the line. That pissed me off. She asked if I wanted a drink and I cut her off with a sharp no and then returned to the person who swung my quesadilla from the grill to make my food to go because I would not be staying. Then, I took my food and left. The entire experienced was awful. Read moreI had a couple of visits to this branch in particular and my last visit was yesterday.
In my opinion, their service on a scale of ten is 3 because I have seen many fast food restaurants serving a lot of customers than that but their service was still amazing i.e. Smiling, welcoming etc. I guess that's the problem when you hire part time employees, or people who usually come to go. During my visits in almost two years, I have seen many faces in that restaurant, but I don't blame the employees for lack of good customer services , I think the manager is responsible to address this problem by not providing proper training to all of the staff.
Food was ok, but one thing which made me think twice to come back again to that branch in particular, I was really annoyed when I found a long hair strand in my food, I felt disgusted from what I found. Some people might say ok, but for me I just can't take it, even if it was by mistake. They need to improve, they are lucky people still go there, I guess because of its location in downtown and next to the university otherwise they might shutdown.

Read moreSo my boyfriend and I walk into Moe’s because we wanted a burrito but weren’t in the mood for chipotle. We get greeted by the “welcome to moes” and then we ordered. I have never seen such poor customer service. The workers were blabbing on about their personal lives while we were literally standing there waiting to say what we want on our food. About 2 minutes went by before we were even acknowledged. The girl putting the toppings on was extremely rude and rushed us while giving us the absolute bare minimum of toppings. She was going so fast mushrooms were going in the lettuce, etc. and I think that’s also why I had jalapeños mixed in with my pico (I couldn’t even eat half my meal because of this) - CARELESS. When we got to the cashier she was just on her phone and took about 5 seconds to even look up at us. While we were sitting down eating our meal, the extremely rude girl doing our toppings walks out of the back and yells back to another employee “you can go smoke after you’re done with that!”.
