TASTE Wine Room is the latest addition to the Augusta nightlife scene. Specializing is wines and light snacks this establishment provides a relaxed and intimate setting to enjoy quality wines from key regions around the world. Wines are available by the glass and bottle with tasting opportunities coming soon. Wines by the glass range from a rather sweet rose through a smattering of whites and a full gamut of reds. Food centers on a range of cheeses (goat and cow) along with charcuterie ranging from mild to hot. Cheeses and charcuterie are in the $6-7 range and you choose your combinations. The board offers olives and spreads to complement the choices. As they are just opened the choices are subject to refinement. Crackers could be better. Two pizzas are offered (red and white) with the white being the better choice. Again a work in progress. I suggest you stay with the white or the cheese boards. The wines are really good. Don't be afraid to talk with the server/bartender about your likes and pallette. They can find a wine which will satisfy your tastebuds. Expect to pay $12 and up for a glass. Stemware is exceptional. Service was attentive and Mark and co-owner Justin will work to make your experience enjoyable.

Tasteful. Classy little wine bar on a hopping and happy street. Excellent wine selection and carefully curated appetizer choices. The service was outstanding in a very subtle way. Other patrons respected the quiet ambiance and the vibe was very chill. It also appears that there’s space for some live music at some other time. I think my favorite thing was the comfortable atmosphere.

It's about time!! This place is amazing for small groups of individuals. This is the spot to go for wine and charcuterie. Perfect place before and after dates as well . The wine selection is specifically considered for various tastes. The place is intimate not the place for the loud crowds. I enjoyed myself and I frequently visit this place and I loved it.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Taste Wine Room and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

The wine selection was extensive and impressive, with a variety of options to suit every palate. The sommelier, Mark was able to make recommendations based on my preferences, and I was not disappointed with his suggestions. The wine paired perfectly with the delicious food that was served.

The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. The attention to detail and genuine care for their guests was truly commendable. The live music lightly playing in the background was the perfect touch.

Overall, I cannot recommend Taste Wine Bar enough. It is a hidden gem in Augusta and a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable experience. I will definitely be returning in the future and look forward to enjoying more delicious food and wine at this fantastic...

While the wine and food is great - the service is terrible. I have been to taste multiple times - and each time the service is terrible. It comes down to the workers do not know how to act as servers. During the wine dinner - I had to ask for a caraf of water as no servers were roving the tables - and water is a must for a wine dinner.tip - maybe leave out water jugs ar each dinner. During the few times I have gone with friends - I’ve had issues with the bill (items wrong) and been ignored by the staff (ironically it’s been the same server each time). Additionally- the staff doesn’t seem that educated about the wine - when asking simple questions of where the wine is from or the grapes - there seems to be blank stares. All and all while this place has great potential - I think the staff needs to...
