EDITED: So the owner responded stating they reversed the charges for our meal. This did NOT happen. The charges went thru over night, as I suspected they would. I will be contacting the corporate office today. It's one thing to have a bad experience but to be lied to on top of that is just a slap in the face.
Usually have a good experience eating at Applebees. Not this time. I have Celiac, so gluten free options are a must for me. I make this clear before I order every time we go out. The waiter was ok, a little slow and didn't notice the fried food on my plate. I was specific hat any contamination would send me to the hospital. My plate comes out with a chunk of fried chicken tender on it. I informed the waiter and explained the meal needed to be remade, if I were to eat that food I would get ill and wind up in the hospital. He went back to the kitchen and the manager came out. She explained that the potatoes in my meal were also fried, which no one thought to tell me, and therefore were not safe for me. So I subbed mashed. My meal eventually came out, after my husband was done with his, and it was good. Then we got the bill. They had added a 3rd meal to our ticket to comp it so they could justify the refire, when it was their fault. The cook didn't notice, the person working the pass failed to notice and the waiter honestly should have noticed. 3 people saw my food, knew I have a food allergy and I still got fried food on my plate. It is very disappointing to have such an epic failure. I could understand if they were busy but we were maybe 1 of 15 tables. Not busy in the least. My retire took so long my husband was done eating. I expected something off the bill to be honest, after all of that. Nothing. I had to say something to the manager and she finally credited the bill. Really need to retrain your staff to be more alert to problems like this. Celiac is just as serious as an egg or peanut allergy. Also on a side note you cannot list your in house chips as gluten free, they are fried in a SHARED fryer. Meaning they are cross contaminated. Please do more research and fix your menu, you are making people sick by...

Another person came in and we both waited for quite some time in an empty restaurant. Bre or Breann R was sitting at one of her tables right by the door chatting. She finally gets up and asks the names for both our orders to go check on them. She goes to the kitchen and then never returns to us. She goes from the kitchen directly back to the booth right by the front door and sat back down with her friends/family to talk with them. The manager comes to the front and asks the other person and myself if we've been helped. We both say yes because technically we have? The manager is running food and seating a table thats come in. The other server is running food and helping tables. Bre is still sitting and talking with her friends/family. The other server comes to the front and asks the other person if he'd like him to check on his order. He doesn't offer me help and goes to the kitchen. He comes back with the man's food. I then ask the server if he could please check on my order. He says sure and comes back with my food. I ask who my tip goes to? He said it would be Bre or Breann R who is responsible for to go orders tonight. I asked is there any way I could give my tip to him since Bre has been no help, couldn't bother coming back to the front to at least update me and the other customer, didn't box the food, and sat chatting with friends the whole duration of the time I was there. He said not really and I'd have to call in about the issue. I have never watched a server care less about service. I walked out the door at 652p. I waited 12min for absolutely no reason. I'll be calling corporate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is about our waitresses. Got there at 7:04pm my friend was setting on a table that has a broom laying on my seat 𤣠my friend failed to get the waitresses to take it away... I changed the table to a new one happened to be with the same waitresses. I asked for the menu and a glass of water. 20 minutes later she came to apologize that she's very busy because she has another 2 tables to serve and asked if we're ready to order, I told her we didn't get menu or water. She promised she will. At 8:10pm she came back wondering if we are ready to order. Hahaha again I told her she never delivered the menu nor the water lol. Finally we got the menu and likely the water š... Of course we didn't order food because who knows what will happen.... But because my friend and I were still enjoying our conversation, we decided to share a desert, came in 10 minutes š. Decided to cash out, she brought our check and disappeared. Went to cashier area trying to cash but the answer I have to wait for my waitresses š but I wanna go home and don't want to wait for her again. Forgot to mention that her co- worker never agreed to serve us once???? They called her to come to cashier, she came with her airpods because she was in a phone call that of course made her take few minutes trying to figure out how to print our receipt while busy talking in her phone. Paid and didn't leave any tip for the first time in my life. I doubt any of the managers or corporate will even notice...
