*THIS ISSUE WAS ADDRESSED BY THE OWNER WHO WAS VERY NICE AND TRIED HIS BEST TO FIX THE SITUATION BY PROVIDING ME A FREE MEAL FOR MY FAMILY. I HAVE SINCE DECIDED TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE.
We usually love to eat here and have never had a bad experience until last night. We called the location in Aurora, off of Havana and Mississippi at 7:58 PM and spoke with someone by the name of Benjamin. Initially, we ordered the pizza and he told us that it would be 45 min to an hour, so to my expectation was for the pizza to be there around 9:00 at the latest.
So, time passes by and around 8:55 our pizza still had not arrived and mind you, I am literally 3 minutes away from this location as I live off of Mississippi and Dayton. I decided to call the store to check the status of the order and spoke with Benjamin again, I made him aware that the pizza had still not arrived and was wondering when it would be here. He stated that the driver had just left and he should be pulling up in about 5 min. Irritated, yet hungry I agreed and ended the call.
So we waited, and waited.......come around 9:20 pm I call again, and guess who I get? That's right, BENJAMIN! I explained to him one more time that the pizza was still not there and I did not understand what was taking so long. Once again he stated that the driver was just leaving and he would be here soon. I was upset at this point and let him know that he told me the same thing 20 min ago. He stated "I told you that he was on the way, I don't what to tell you, if you don't want the pizza I'll just cancel the order" REALLY?!?! I never once told him I did not want the pizza. At that point I was very upset but yet again I told him that we wanted the pizza, I ended the call and waited.
More time passes.........9:40 pm and STILL NO PIZZA! So, We call..... I'LL SAY IT AGAIN....I LIVE 3 MIN AWAY FROM THE LOCATION. So of course we speak to Benjamin, and at this point we are explaining to him that we are upset that the order has not gotten here after he told us TWO TIMES that our food would be delivered in less than 20 min. Benjamin then got rude AGAIN (what a surprise) and stated "He just left the store, when you guys called before we didn't have a driver" ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! I asked him why he didn't tell us that when we first ordered the pizza and told him this was not okay! I am MAD at this point because he was arguing with me back and forth. He then went on to say "Well you guys are paying with cash anyway so I'll just cancel the order since you don't want to wait." He said this sarcastically as if the order was not sufficient enough to be on time because we were paying with cash, besides that IT HAD BEEN TWO HOURS SINCE WE ORDERED.
After arguing with me for almost 5 min, he had the audacity to say "Im being professional." WOW! I was literally so upset I told him we did not want the pizza and we hung up the phone.After him wasting 2 hours of our time, We ended up having to get in the car and drive to get something else. That took us about 30 min in total to get our food and drive back home. We walk in the house and guess what? About 10 or 15 min later we get a phone call from the delivery man saying that the he was at the door with our pizza. We had already spent our money elsewhere, told him we didn't want it and sent him away.
THIS WAS SERIOUSLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD, ANYWHERE! Its disgusting that you would hire such people that have no customer service skills and no value for your PAYING customers! Benjamin did nothing to try and fix the situation, he was rather rude and disrespectful.....but rather he was at fault, or the delivery driver, I am very upset with how I was treated and how the situation was handled. Read moreHorrible!! The new manager is ruining the place with arrogance and none existent customer service. I ordered a pizza Friday early evening... about 4:30. Just cheese for my daughter, she was the only one that read going to be home that night. Got it for pick up. I go in to get it and the girl at the register looks at me( after looking and seeing NO pizzas ) and goes kinda pale and looks nervous.. there is no pizza. I ask her why they didn't have my order, she says she remembers me and my order, but the cook says she never got a ticket. I can see and hear them talking as we are all right in front of one another. The girls start looking behind the line ,on the floor, for the ticket and start arguing about whether there was an order. The girl comes back to the front and apologizes but says I have to order another one. I told her that I was in a hurry, that is why I ordered it on my way home from getting kids from after school activities. . So I can just walk in, get it quickly, and leave. (This is our routine, on fridays) She says I need to order another, I say okay , if I order another and wait (about 20 minutes I was told), would you discount it? She looked really confused. I explained that because they lost my order and I needed to wait and order again, they should do something for the inconvenience. She said she would get the manager, I said ok. Then this guy comes out, really aggressive, arguing that i didn't order anything WITHOUT even asking what happened, or even saying hello..!! I look at him and say that yes, I did indeed order a pizza, and showed him the time and date on the outgoing call, on my cell phone. He then proceeds to argue that I took to long!! He said that I took over 20 minutes, to get the pizza that i was told would take 20 minutes to cook and be ready for pick up, and that they sold it to another person, as was their policy if ANYONE orders and didn't pick up in 20 minutes....REALLY? So which one is it? Then I say I was told 20 minutes, I was here in 22 minutes. He then pulls my TICKET(remember they couldn't find it, then said I never ordered etc...) saying that it came up at 55 minutes after. That was the exact time we were speaking at the counter. I had been there almost 10-15 minutes at this point. I have my 10 year old daughter with me, she is getting really nervous because this man is YELLING away her mother, people are all staring like they can't even believe what's happening. So I just ask for the pizza they are making, to get told they NEVER PUT ONE IN.. and to leave before the manager called the cops, about my insanity of asking for a discount or free cheese pizza. I said"okay", may I please have the owner's number? I have seen the owner so many times in the 3 years I have been going to that location and he is always gracious and nice,I really wanted him to know how I was being treated.. to be told " Hell no, I'm the manager" i chuckled and told him to have a nice day and left. I hope I hear back from the owner..I hope that the manager is fired, honestly. I have never wanted that in all my years of food service..25+ but yes..I wasn't him gone. He isn't cut out for food service or customer service, customer relations really. I have called numerous times to talk to someone else, to no avail. It is really to bad. I am upset and my daughter doesn't want to go back, she felt he was going to hurt me, right in the middle of the store, over what she expressed was "all for my cheese pizza mommy?" Read moreDON'T EVER GO HERE! If i could give zero stars i would. I have never had such a terrible customer service experience! I ordered the Our Choice pizza (pesto, sausage, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, & green pepper) through Grub hub. Instead, I received the Chicken Pesto pizza. I should have listened to the many other reviews with screwed up orders... When I called Big Daddy's about the issue a young lady said that she was sorry, someone else had ordered the Chicken one- they were probably switched during delivery, & that she would get a manager so that they could get my correct pizza out to me. When the manager came on the phone I told her what had happened & she put me on hold. 5 minutes later she came back & immediately started yelling at me saying that the menu on Grub Hub was wrong & that the Our Choice pizza WAS the Chicken Pesto. When I asked if they had a pizza matching the description of what I wanted she said yes but she couldn't remember the name of it & again put me on hold. She never came back. I hung up after 15 minutes & tried calling again. It took anther 30 minutes for me to get a live person (during this time I checked the company website & their menu descriptions were exactly the same as Grub Hub's). All I could get out to this third woman was "Hi I received the wrong pizza--" before she interrupted me & said that "We keep telling you you're wrong! What we have in store is not the same menu as online. You're calling too much & my GM said to put you on the DO NOT SERVE list so you're now blocked from ordering here" & then hung up on me. ??? I called twice & no one ever even asked for my information to verify my order. Grub Hub customer care called on my behalf as well & told me that they have never been treated so rudely! SMH I guess their employees don't discriminate. Needless to say they refused to redeliver or refund me. What happened to the customer is always right? The ridiculous part is that if it had been a mistake on my part or an inaccurate menu, I would have been willing to pay for the pizza I wanted to be delivered but they didn't even give me the chance to do so. As far as the food I did receive is concerned, it was cold & mediocre at best. They shouldn't have bothered banning me because I would never want their services...
