Really great food and amazing customer service. Restaurant was super clean. And I liked the decor. The person who took our order was friendly and patient with my family. She asked thoughtful questions like, “Would the onions and veggies be alright in the kids quesadillas?” It was not necessary and may be a small gesture but showed attention to detail and care, like even the kids should be content. We ordered two sets of birria tacos, a barbacoa burrito, chicken bowl, steak fajitas, a bunch of Jarritos and kids meals (quesadilla and hot dog). Everything was delicious, but the birria tacos were next level and honestly some of the best I’ve had. My picky child, who only eats really good birria, devoured his. All the meats were fresh, tender, and flavorful. We needed the sauces and they were both pretty good too. After we placed our order, I saw my my mother in law eyeing the mango juice drink. I went to go get cash so I don’t cause credit card fees for the small order, but got distracted by my kids. Just a few minutes later one of the workers brought it out for us on the house. They also gave us extra juice boxes on the house for the kids. Such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. But yes, amazing food, kind people, and a really welcoming vibe. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Ordered around 8:20 pm, got my food at 9:30 pm — already cold by the time it arrived 🥶. On top of that, one item was missing… no Pepsi can. Maybe the driver forgot it, maybe the restaurant — I’ll never know. Sounds small, but honestly that Pepsi could’ve saved my evening and the long wait. Instead I had to walk in the chilly Chicago night to the gas station for a drink. Beef taco? Not great — tasted kinda off, like the meat wasn’t fresh. And waiting that long for cold food when it’s just 15 miles away (no traffic, I checked!) felt weird. Some dishes were still decent, maybe even great if eaten inside the restaurant, hot and fresh. But what I got was cold tacos (foil wrap would’ve helped, guys 🙃) and a missing Pepsi. Without these issues, I’d easily give 5⭐.

Tried this spot tonight and I don’t care if it’s their grand opening — the service was a complete mess. Took 45 minutes for 3 tacos and a steak burrito. The chips (which were supposed to be complimentary) came out cold and served with the food, not beforehand. The burrito was over $12 and the beef inside? Straight up disgusting. Mushy, bland, and just low quality (see pic). Tasted like it sat in a steam tray all day. Definitely not worth the price. The person taking our order was clearly not trained and seemed confused the entire time. Worst part? We ordered barbacoa and then were told they were out — 3 hours before closing. How does that even happen? Nothing about this experience makes me want to come back. Save your time and money.

🌮 A Gem in Aurora-Naperville: Asada Mexican Grill

I absolutely love exploring new restaurants, especially when it comes to Mexican cuisine- its vibrant flavors, delicate textures, and endless variety always draw me in. Recently, I visited Asada Mexican Grill in the Aurora-Naperville area, and I can confidently say: this is hands-down the best Mexican grill I’ve ever experienced.

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how spacious the restaurant is- far larger than any other Mexican spot I’ve tried. It’s immaculately clean, thoughtfully maintained, and the décor is bright, inviting, and full of character. I’m not usually one to take photos while dining, but this place was so visually appealing, I couldn’t resist snapping a few. It’s just that stunning.

🌯 The Menu? A Flavor Fiesta. The variety of dishes blew me away. Whether you’re craving nachos, tacos, burritos, fajitas, or fresh salads, Asada delivers with bold flavors and generous portions. Every bite felt like a celebration of authentic Mexican grill tradition. The potion size is also big. We had ordered only a nachos and a tacos and three of my friends were full with it.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Perfect for Families and Gatherings One of the most pleasant surprises was how family-friendly the atmosphere is. I saw smaller groups of people from 2-3 and also large groups- families of 10 to 15- comfortably enjoying their meals. Kids were having fun venturing the spacious interior. The spacious layout makes it ideal for gatherings.

🤝 Hospitality That Feels Personal Service here is exceptional. The staff genuinely care about your experience, and the owners are always present, ensuring everything runs smoothly. That personal touch makes a real difference- you feel welcomed, not just served.

My friends and I left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for authentic, Zabiha Halal-certified Mexican grill in the area, Asada Mexican Grill is a must-visit. Trust me- you’ll want to come back...

I was passing by and was hungry so decided to check out Asada Mexican Grill. The restaurant looks very nice and clean, you can see the food being prepped and the atmosphere was nice.

I got the steak burrito dinner, with rice and beans. I asked for a bunch of spicy salsas on the side. I asked the very friendly girl upfront if they were new, she said we just opened yesterday. She was very nice and helpful.

Waited about 12-15 mins got my food and went home across the street. They included complimentary chips which was very nice, the burrito was so SAD, was full of lettuce and not much steak at all, the steak that was in there was bland and had no taste, was very low quality. I was super let down by the burrito, hoping it would be good. The included one green and one red salsa when I asked and am willing to pay for extra. The red salsa was eh, and green did the job. The rice and beans were even worse than the burrito. Absolutely no taste to them, I poured salsa on them also but still was like eating nothing.

Overall was honestly really hoping to like this place since I love Mexican food and live across the street, but to be honest you can clearly tell the owners are not from Mexico, food lacked all kinds of seasoning and was just over all awful. Like I said I ordered the steak burrito dinner, maybe other things are better but won’t be going back to try more. Paid about $16.50...

A True Hidden Gem — Fresh, Bold, and Unforgettable We have tried a lot of Mexican spots in Aurora-Naperville, but Asada Grill truly stands out — especially for how much care goes into every plate. On our recent visit, I went with the spicy fish platter, and it was hands down one of the most flavorful dishes I’ve had in a long time.

The fish was seared perfectly — tender inside, crisp on the outside — and seasoned with a smoky, spicy rub that hits with just enough heat to wake up your taste buds without overpowering the dish. It came with fluffy rice, well-seasoned with fresh avocados that actually had flavor (rare!). The house salsas and pickled toppings added a perfect customizable kick.

I also sampled the asada steak taco and Barbacoa nachos, both of which lived up to the hype. The nachos were huge, loaded with juicy beef and smothered in a rich, savory sauce. The tacos were soft, indulgent and nachos were ideal for sharing.

Service was fast, the staff was welcoming, and the place was spotless. It’s casual but clearly run with pride. You can taste the difference in every bite.

If you're tired of generic chains and want Mexican food that feels fresh, homemade, and a little fiery, Asada Grill should be at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be back — that fish platter and steak tacos alone is...
