I placed an order online first my wife to pick up on her way home from work. This was my first time ordering and I did not know that the person picking up the order has to grab the bottled drinks themselves from a cooler in the waiting area so I didn't let my wife know I'd ordered a 2 liter bottle. My bad
The staff handed her the order but also didn't tell her about the drink listed on the receipt. Their bad, but it's only a few bucks, so I figured it would be nothing to just refund the amount back to the card.
After being placed on hold twice, the employee came back on to tell me the DoorDash driver hadn't picked up the drink(??) And after I corrected him on that point, several other employees in the background immediately chimed in to place full blame on my wife for not grabbing the drink. (True, but again, no one there called attention to it on the receipt when she picked up the order.)
I hung up in frustration. To their credit, the store called me back, but to ask me if we could come back in and get the soda.(?!) When I asked him why they just couldn't refund the (appx) $4 back to the card ID paid with, he told me that he didn't "think that their refund policy allows them to refund a single charge like that."
It's $4. I know that it's a paltry amount in the scheme of things, but it's apparent from the other recent reviews that there is something desperately wrong with the customer service training being provided to the employees of this location. The current Google review score here is 2.6. Even with the understanding that people typically only leave reviews for a negative experience, this score is abysmal.
After failing to find another point of contact for which to request a refund for the drink, I'm instead leaving this review for whomever monitors this site for Marco's:
Be Better. Train your people in basic customer service skills. Your customers are NOT beholden to your product, and in a sea of alternatives, a single bad experience is enough to send us and our money elsewhere without a second thought.

Read moreAs a former manager at Marco's Pizza, I feel compelled to share my personal account of the deplorable conditions and practices I witnessed during my time there. I strongly urge the public to avoid this establishment at all costs.
One glaring issue that plagued Marco's Pizza was the severe lack of support from the higher-ups, namely Justin, Jeremy, and Ryan. I witnessed countless managers and general managers succumb to burnout due to the constant neglect and indifference shown by these individuals. It was disheartening to see dedicated employees like Ryan, Josh, Kris, and Kay, who poured their hearts into their work, ultimately leave because they were left high and dry without the support they deserved.
Moreover, the numerous health code violations I personally observed at Marco's Pizza were beyond alarming. Cross-contamination was rampant, posing serious risks to customers with allergies or dietary restrictions. The fact that Justin didn't possess the proper licensing only further exposed the lack of accountability and disregard for basic standards of food safety.
To add insult to injury, I was employed illegally as a minor at Marco's Pizza. The management knowingly violated labor laws, compromising the well-being and legal rights of their employees. This blatant disregard for regulations raises serious questions about the ethical practices of the company as a whole.
In conclusion, I implore everyone to boycott Marco's Pizza. It is an establishment where the higher-ups care more about profit than the well-being of their employees or the safety of their customers. Save yourself the disappointment, frustration, and potential health risks by choosing an alternative pizza joint that values integrity, professionalism, and the highest...
Read moreEdit: we JUST received (two hours after our order) that a door dash driver has delivered our order to us. Which, no. We picked up our order, an hour ago. At 9:30 pm. So Mohammed (person who the doordash driver was) did not hand us an order even though doordash stated they completed it via text. Idk what’s even going on at this point!! We won’t be ordering here again.
We placed an online order for delivery (through Marcos website) . An hour goes by and the status of the order changes to “on its way”. We waited a while later. Still doesn’t show up. So we call and are told they don’t have a delivery driver so they are waiting on a door dash driver… so why did you not call us? Our pizza sat there getting cold for a good 40 minutes before we figured something was up. So, my partner drove to pick it up, and since we paid a delivery fee, and waited over an hour we asked for a discount. Not even my delivery fee was refunded tonight. What a bummer. Unfortunately the extra pizza he gave us won’t be eaten since one pizza is enough...
