Ordered my ham almost a week in advance. Showed up and they did not have the ham. This was a big disappointment as we were having an early Thanksgiving family Dinner due to travel plans and being apart for Thanksgiving. I bought slices of ham and turkey that they had on hand and left. Now why 5 Stars? An hour after I left the manager Karen called me to apologize, asked if I could come back in and she would prepare the ham for me. I told her that was impossible, as I did not live that close (had taken a special trip over there to pick up the ham). She said she would call me right back. A few minutes later she told me her General Manager Tony would pick up the ham and deliver it to my place before our family dinner. And that is exactly what he did. The dinner turned out beautiful, ham was GREAT! But most of all, this is a company that does what it takes to fix a mistake. We all make mistakes, but it is what we do afterwards that can make all the difference in the world! Thank you Karen, Tony and Honey Baked Ham to making a difference...
Read moreI recently purchased a ham for Christmas for my family. I pre-ordered the ham a week in advance to guarantee the availability. I called the day I was going to pick up the ham and was told even though I pre-ordered the ham, I would have to wait in line everyone else. I don't understand why they recommended the pre-order? So at this point I stood in line for almost an hour. They tried their best to get people in and out as quickly as possible and there was even a tent to block the cold wind as we stood outside. When i finally reached the register, the checkout lady was nice enough to apply several discounts to my order without having the coupon! The ham (about 16 lbs) was delicious and lasted a family of 13 several days...
Read moreIt was so bad. It was after 15 minutes the one lady asked another to help out, and she didn't do much. They took all orders prior to making sandwiches. 45 minutes later we walk out with the food to eat. Then a third lady appears from the back... She was no help. They must have a bad working culture there. A coworker just said they have the wrong sandwich. Apparently, no one got cheese...!? Of the six, only one reports the sandwich as correct. Oh! And they are out of chicken salad from Thanksgiving.... Which is 2 weeks...
