Boston Donuts — Restaurant in Austin

This place might look like many other donut shops around town, that's what I expected going in. But holy-cow, I was wrong. I'm genuinely blown away by the quality.

The bakery items are LEGIT. Not dry and crumbly at all - they are crispy and chewy and light. Honestly VERY impressive. The "bread" parts of the donuts seem to have a bit of that light and fluffy Asian bakery element to them. Not quite soufflé cake kinda stuff, but it reminded me of that. It's perfect donut base material.

I'll be coming back for the breakfast sandwiches too. The biscuit that my sausage egg and cheese was on was very good. Again, light and crispy and chewy. Had a nice egg wash on it before baking - it was perfect.

I feel weird leaving such a raving review about a donut shop, but this place deserves it. Above and beyond!

I really love this place and have been coming for the last few years since I moved to TX. It’s a small shop and it’s nostalgic to me.

It’s normally not too packed and I’ve been lucky to always have enough options to choose from around 10-11am time. My personal faves are the kolaches & cinnamon twists, but they also have sandwiches, tacos, danishes, & more so there is something for everyone.

Prices are cheap and while I see some negative reviews on here, the owners have always been kind and I’m sure if you had an issue, they would be more than happy to accommodate (if valid of course).

The place looked clean, I would recommend making sure to get your receipt, when I came home I realized my order was incomplete. When I called back for some reason I was told they did not charge me for the missing Item I order nor put it in the bag.
