Stopped here directly off our flight from North Carolina. Incredibly glad we did. Completely forgot to take pictures but you can take my word for our experience.

Was greeted promptly even though it wasn’t busy and was a cold, rainy evening, around 7:30 PM. Ordered the chicken Shawarma platter, and the chicken kebab lunch platter with a side of stuffed grape leaves.

Shawarma platter was huge. Shawarma came over a bed of wonderfully seasoned rice, a side of baba ghanoush, a side of hummus, a side salad, and pita bread. All fresh and so flavorful. The chicken kabob lunch platter came with rice, salad, pickles, radishes… it was amazing. I really can’t emphasize how fresh and delicious our first meal in Austin was.

If ever back we will 100% return to Rayan...

I ordered takeout from Rayan tonight and it was absolutely delicious! I got the chicken kabob combo. The chicken and the baba ghonoush were soooo good. It's been a long time since i've had chicken this juicy - not at all dry and just perfectly grilled and full of flavor. I ordered a side of the garlic sauce (unfortunately it doesn't come with it) and they came in really small containers so you don't get much but you have to try the 2 together. I also got a side of hot sauce (also extra) which the three together were amazing. That's honestly my biggest feedback is that you need the sauce to complete the meal and the garlic sauce containers should be at least the size of the hot sauce one. Don't miss out on this place. Absolutely a gem of...

Came here based on the reviews. Got the lunch plate chicken kebab. Chicken was good. Rice was bland. The pita was cold, thin, and tasteless. I assume the pita was some mass produced generic product. The salad that came with the plate looked good but I was not a fan of the dressing. The salad had lots of large veggie pieces which was nice to see. The inclusion of hamburger slice pickles was weird. They were like best maid hamburger slice pickles. None of the plate came with any sauce which it desperately needed. They do sell sauces, albeit separately (not expensive but $0.50 per sauce.

Ultimately for $22, my experience was terrible and would not recommend this...

It was my first time at Rayan’s yesterday. We ordered the VIP for two so that we could try a little of everything off the menu, and our socks were knocked off! From the hospitality of the staff, bringing out everything we needed to tackle the massive “VIP for two” which could have easily been for four! The flavor and taste of the food, so fresh and didn’t leave us regretting one single bite. I definitely recommend coming and sitting down to enjoy this meal. Believe me, I’ll be ordering pick up too but you can’t beat sitting down and getting a 5 star service!

Please don’t go!!! 👎Only one other person picked up an order yet I still waited for 25 minutes 😭 the falafel was cold and tiny for the price. The portion comments have to be fake bc why did I get so little meat. Chicken was dry as another person said. The pita felt like eating a napkin. I was excited bc I love trying middle eastern food, but support another business instead of this one. The price point is just too high to waste money like on it. Not to be mean, but I truly think the good reviews have to be employees or something bc they are not true.

I love this place so much. The owner is super friendly, the food is amazing, and the vibes are perfect. It may be a food truck, but they have all the charm of a brick & morter; completely covered dining area, no disposables, and great Lebanese tunes. Some of my favorites are the lamb gyro sandwich, the moussaka, & tabbouleh. They do large platters too which I haven't been able to try yet (gotta rally some people) but it looks so good. Don't sleep on Rayan, you'll wish you tried it sooner!
