This place is a 5 Star Coffee Stop. Let me repeat. This place IS a 5 Star Coffee Stop and the rest of the surrounding coffee shops in the Austin area should take note. I came here on 3 separate occasions to get a feel for what CaPhe.in Coffee is about. The first visit. I just got a normal Vietnamese Coffee. Just a regular coffee in a 12 oz (?) cup that I think I paid 5 dollars for. It tasted different, but in a unique and special way. This is what you should have on your first visit if you’ve never had Vietnamese Coffee. The 2nd Visit. I had a matcha latte. See the thing and beauty of this shop is that while you’re ordering, you look at what people are getting and the garnishes make you question “What’s that? That looks cool! I’ll get that next time!” This Austin. This is what keeps people coming back and trying new products. The matcha latte had a banana garnish and, let me just say these drinks are in the 7-10 dollar range; but you’re not paying for “the vibez” or “the atmosphere” you’re paying for a unique product that is made by people who know what they’re doing. Part of the reason I got the matcha latte on my 2nd visit was because someone else got it and let me tell you; the matcha latte was delicious. The 3rd visit. I say this with no exaggeration that The Crème Brûlée here is; the best-coffee-I’ve had-in my life. In. My. Life. I enjoyed it so much; I ordered another one immediately for my roommate. Again the crème brûlée was something I saw someone else ordering on a previous visit; and let me just say, without reading reviews or asking opinion, I ordered it and was exceedingly satisfied for my order. This place has parking too, on a weekday or any other time there may be a line (which goes by), but for the offerings, and for something different, CaPhe.in Coffee is a must visit.

The only downside is the price, especially once you start adding extras or substitutions. They do have a lot of specials and seasonal drinks though, which is nice. Summer Mint Fruit Tea ($7) + Crystal Boba ($1): Their default sugar level is 25%, which threw me off. My husband bumped his up to 100%, and it was definitely on the sweeter side, so I'll probably stick with 75% next time. The drink itself was really good and super refreshing on a hot day. Iced 16oz Ube Coco Coffee ($7) + Oat Milk ($0.75): I kept the standard amount (1.5 oz) of condensed milk, and I'd recommend doing the same. The drink was delicious, and I can see why it's one of their top 10. The coffee was strong but not too bold, and the ube foam was amazing. Just make sure to mix it in before drinking. The sweetness level was perfect. 16 oz Coconut Matcha Ice Blended ($7.95): We substituted the condensed milk with classic syrup—6 pumps total (note: the syrup isn’t customizable beyond that). The drink was pretty light at first and had an icy texture. The coconut flavor was subtle, likely due to the use of unsweetened coconut milk, though it reminded me of similar coconut drinks I’ve had in Vietnam. Interestingly, the drink became noticeably sweeter the longer it sat. We had mixed it well, so I’m not sure how the sweetness concentrated at the bottom. Einspanner Hojicha with Oat Milk ($7.75): The cashier mentioned that 3 pumps of miso caramel would be sweet, so I opted for 2. The hojicha flavor really came through, and the cream on top was rich but not overly sweet. The flavors were subtle at first but grew on me with each sip. The sweetness level was borderline for my taste, so I’d like to try it with 3 pumps next time for comparison. While both drinks were good, I definitely don’t think they’re worth waiting in line for.

This is our third visit here and today we had the worst experience ever. We have no problem with waiting for 30min to over an hour to get our favorite drink (at least 40min last time and more than an hour on their soft opening day) but NOT with letting someone skip the line just because they are the employee’s/owner’s ACQUAINTANCES.

Okay this lady and gentlemen SKIPPED THE LINE by just walking in and said hi to one of the employees then THAT EMPLOYEE IMMEDIATELY TOOK THEIR ORDER THROUGH MESSENGER APP and put their order BEFORE our order DESPITE OF OUR 40MIN WAIT. It is NOT PROFESSIONAL, NOT RIGHT, and SHOULD BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY. Their time is more VALUABLE than the rest of the customers???????????!!!!!!!!!!!! Attached is the two who SKIPPED the line and make EVERYONE else waiting extra time to get their drinks and their order kn screen, I was behind a young lady with order number #220, these two took #221 and mine got pushed back to #222 because they KNOW the employees but we don’t :) Just imagine a GROUP OF ACQUAINTANCES coming in the future, we will all have to wait for them to get their drinks first????!!!!! That’s ridiculous and shouldn’t happen again as I hope!!!!!!!

I will still coming back as I really like their drinks, but I think this kind of behavior need to be aware of.

Mở tiệm ở Mỹ chứ không phải ở Việt Nam, làm ơn chuyên nghiệp...
