My family and I went to a restaurant to grab a bite and a drink before a concert. The place looked great from the outside, but once we walked in, we immediately felt uncomfortable. We weren’t greeted when we entered, so my son-in-law went to the bar to ask if it was open seating or if we needed to wait. The bartender asked for his ID, and when he showed his military ID, the guy was incredibly disrespectful, saying it wasn’t real. After my son-in-law showed his driver’s license, the bartender then demanded IDs from everyone else in our group.
Every time my son-in-law went up to the bar, he was met with unnecessary hostility, making him feel so uncomfortable that he eventually stepped outside to wait for us while we ate. I looked around and noticed that none of the other customers were asked for their IDs. The staff also never checked on us at the table, but they went outside to assist others. I wanted to speak up, but my daughters advised against it, saying it wasn’t worth the argument.

It's the only bar I went to that day. My only complaint is that the music was really loud and couldn't carry on much of a conversation for 5 o'clock on a Thursday but it was good music. Apples and Oranges I guess! I'm going back. I think it will be my new spot and Ian...
