Had a great first visit to Doka Bubble Tea today. The 3 brothers (三兄弟) was great - milk tea + egg custard + grass jelly + boba. The 50% sugar level was perfect for me. The milk tea has a well balanced flavor, more on the creamy side. The boba was the perfect texture (q-q as the Taiwanese would say). Also tried the strawberry black tea with salty cream, the strawberry was obviously made from real strawberries, not a syrup, as a result, it overpowered any tea flavor. If you want a refreshing drink without a tea taste but don't want to go for a smoothie, this is it! It was lovely seeing the owners (mother and son duo) in the store training some new employees and hearing them speak Mandarin with a Taiwanese accent 🤗 this is going to be one of my top boba places in Austin, looking forward to trying...

The bubble tea was perfect - great flavor, creamy milk, and chewy pearls. I would definitely recommend the taro bubble tea!!! The prices are great as well, I fully expected to pay way more for what I got. Like most places, there is the option to set your preference for the amount of ice, sugar, and milk type as well as add extra toppings, which is something I...
