I came to this place because it was recommended by Instagram and heavily marketed during opening Weekend. I came here with the expectation of fine Italian, American cuisine, and what I received Was not even close. Upon arriving parking was very minimal and hard to find. Upon checking in the hostess said there would be about a 30 minute wait, which was fine due to it being the dinner rush-hour. We were able to sit on the patio until we were called however it was pretty chilly and had to wait in our vehicle instead. When we finally were taken inside, we immediately noticed the interior was well taken care of and redesigned. We definitely appreciated the architecture, but then immediately noticed the cost of the food was the compensation. We ordered Buffalo wings, an old-fashioned, Limoncello, pizza and a vinaigrette salad. The waiter was very nice and the wait time for the food was not very long but then we realized why. Our buffalo wings came quick but were cold and smaller than most wing places. I had to fight the crispiness off the bone to get to the portion that was remaining. Next our salad came and I began to wish we hadn’t ordered it. The vinegar was way over powering in the vinaigrette and all I could do was chug my water and heave spoonfuls to get my monies worth. I had to stop after four fork fulls because of the tartness. As far as the drinks my old fashioned had no pizzaz to it, no flare, for 13$ I would expect more but hey it’s liquor it helped me forget being robbed for a bit. The limoncello was pure Tito’s vodka lemon and seemed as if someone added a little sugar or sweet and low definitely not worth $12 but let’s get buzzed and forget we made this choice. Finally the pizza ,we ordered Joes pie and added some pepperoni for a little more of a kick. The pizza crust was doughy and spongey and was lacking crispiness, I assume they saved that for the wings. The pie was equal to a personal size and wore a $26 fee not including the added roni. Having been disappointed and preparing for a hangover we left unsatisfied and guilty that I turned down Home Slice and Via 313 over this place. After receiving our bill, we were surprisingly shocked that a 3% gratuity was being added to the overall bill. I understand gratuity very well and I will say that if you cannot compensate your employees but can afford such a grand structure then you’re better off with a food truck. I recommend you visit other pizzerias in Austin and avoid this tourist trap. - Texan by birth Austinite...
Read moreHey this place is really good. I can tell these people out a lot of care into what they make because everything is really fresh and you can tell they put a lot into the recipes.
I got a Margherita and garlic parm wings. The Margherita was good, it's a small pizza but for the price point it makes sense. Very good dough. Soft and chewy with a nice flavor from the wood oven. I'd say maybe making it a little cripsier would help but hey that's just me.
The garlic parm wings were really outstanding. The rub it a perfect balance. A lot of the time that seasoning is way to salty but theirs has a warm base from what seems like pepper idk but it really makes the garlic and parmasean taste much more organic and not like some GMO nightmare that is justike injecting sodium directly into your veins.
I got a side of buffalo sauce cos and it was really impressive. It kind of reminded me of former Miami Dolphins quarterback, Hall Of Famer Dan Marino. When he was getting scouted, he was asked about his throwing motion. When he explained it to the scouts they replied "don't ever let anyone change your throwing motion." That's basically how I felt about the buffalo sauce. If that's made in house it's perfect don't ever change it.
The pizza box was also really cute. I know restaurants are a small margins business and it's kinda senseless to spend money on nice pizza boxes but it really makes their personality shine through. Their food does the exact same thing. It's clearly made by people who care.
A new restaurant pops up in Austin all the time. Usually the pizza is whatever and way too expensive. It would be a shame to give some grifters somewhere else your business just to get a $30 pie that is mid. You should at least try this place instead.
Ooooo also they should make a vodka sauce and maybe a small selection of pasta. That would be cool. I have recipes if you're interested. Oooo a breadcrumb pizza is good too.
Anway I give this place.........2 (!!!!) thumbs up. Since I only have 2 that's the best rating I can give. You should really...

We ordered a couple pizzas and, for whatever reason, the finished product seemed… rushed. I immediately texted their ‘text-only’ number to see if we could address the matter. Shortly after, I was met with a response asking if a manager could reach out to me in “a day or two” to see how they could make things right. I thought this was more than fair seeing as we’d placed our order the night before just an hour before close, so I obliged.
The next day a manager named Kevin reached out to me and immediately asked what went wrong, and how they could make it right. At the end of the day, it’s really not so serious (I mean it’s pizza.. cmon..) but I’d be lying if I told you his genuine interest in the matter wasn’t refreshing!
Long story short, Kevin took an unpleasant situation and turned it on its head by expressing genuine care towards his customers and the product he serves them. Will definitely be returning.
P.s. TRY...
