We chose Fair Market for our event after our CEO, who had attended a coffee market there, recommended it based on its aesthetic and how well it aligned with our event’s theme. We recently hosted a large-scale, two-day event at Fair Market with over 600 attendees, and the venue provided an excellent space that allowed for a diverse range of activities. The open layout gave us the flexibility to seamlessly transition between live demos, panel discussions, networking areas, and coffee service. The outdoor space was a major plus, allowing us to incorporate more active elements like yoga and a ruck run, which our attendees enjoyed.
That said, there are some logistical considerations to keep in mind for anyone planning an event here. The venue's recommended vendors are solid, but they do limit options in some cases, which impacted costs and flexibility. Additionally, given the size and industrial nature of the space, sound control was a challenge. In the future, we would implement more physical barriers, such as drapes, to better separate networking areas from the speaker sections and reposition high-traffic areas like the coffee station to minimize noise disruptions.
Despite these considerations, Fair Market remains a fantastic venue for those looking for an adaptable space with an authentic Austin feel. With proper planning and an understanding of its vendor requirements, it can accommodate a wide range of event formats successfully. We’re looking forward to working with the venue again...
Read moreHad the most wonderful experience at this venue today. I was fortunate enough to have gotten a ticket to today's amazing training session before they sold out. THANK YOU to Fair Market for hosting this event for us. It's unbelievable that dog trainers who have zero clue about this man's training methods accuse him of abuse and attack venues that host him. He is so sought after for a reason and we who were there are so grateful to have had such an amazing space to experience what we did today.
Fair Market should be lauded for standing up to the bullies that tried to stop this event because it helped us tremendously, and if it had been shut down our dogs would have STILL been a danger where now we have a clear path to better lives for all of us. You all are heroes for withstanding the pressure from these cyberbullies and I will make it a point to spread the word about how awesome and beautiful your facility is! Anyone would be lucky to host or attend an event here and you deserve all the...
Read moreI really like this venue and the inside and outside options. I went most recently to the Renegade Market and was there shortly after it opened for the day, so it wasn't too crowded. But once it started getting a bit busier, the inside temperature was getting a little uncomfortable. I'm not sure if there's AC inside but it would've been nicer if it was cooler. For that event there were a lot of vendors (which I love and think is awesome) but the more people that came in made it much harder to get around comfortably. It was not the best event for anyone who has claustrophobia. BUT the venue is really awesome, I've been for a few other events and am super surprised people don't use it...
