Really look into the religious institutions you will form part of. Here’s a description of the awful experience I had with friar Florencio Rodriguez. I scheduled a visit to inquire information regarding matrimony process. Since the very beginning this man was extremely rude, condescending and very arrogant in mannerism/verbally. I kept my composure trying to be understanding and patient as I am not familiar with many of the requirements/requisites. I have not attended church since I did my confirmation sacrament years back therefore I lacked understanding which is what I expressed to him. He didn’t even have the courtesy to look up during the interview, he was busy signing what appeared to be checks the entire time until I addressed his disrespectful way of speaking to me. I asked for my paperwork back and made it clear I will not tolerate disrespect from him just because he is a friar to which he responded he did not care. He said maybe I should come to church, which was my intent all along but not to be spoken to that way by people like him. As I walked out of his office I told him maybe he shouldn’t be a friar if he seemed to hate it and if this is the way he spoke to people. Not once was I disrespectful to him in the beginning until I had enough of...
