McDonald's — Restaurant in Austin

HARASSED BY MANAGER!!!!!!!! OVER AND OVER

Not only will I be leaving a complaint here but I plan on filing a complaint with the Corporate Office. I have been harassed in the last ten minutes, not once but three times by the manager on duty because I am here without a purchase. Let me mention that when I arrived I cleaned my own table even though there were many available they were all dirty!! When I was approached the first time by her I informed her that I was a Case Manager waiting on my client to meet me and that we would be purchasing something soon they were just running behind. She still asked me to leave. The second time she came and asked me to leave which was five minutes if that later. I asked what her issue was. I explained again that I was waiting on someone, I had cleaned my own table, i wasn't causing any issues, i showed her the many other tables available, and reassured her that we would both be purchasing something once he arrived. She asked me leave again if i didn't purchase something immediately. At this point I ignored her because it was just making a big deal over nothing so she goes to the back and comes back out not even five minutes (considering i haven't even been here 15 minutes yet) and says I "MUST LEAVE , MCDONALD'S IS FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY" I got up to purchase a soda because it was the only thing that wouldn't get cold while waiting on my client. I work at many different Walmarts assisting individuals with disabilities who are seeking employment. I have NEVER EVER been harassed in such a manner over a 1.00...

Only reason I come is because my kid likes the happy meals. And even something as simple as that seems to be pretty challenging for this location... Just about every time we come there is something wrong or missing from the box. I always make sure we sit right there and check before we leave. Everytime we ask for ketchup, we NEVER get any even when it's on the receipt. When we don't ask for ketchup though, that's when we get it but they hoarde their ketchup so we get like 1 packet.... Fast food is not how I would describe it if your in the drive through. I can easily spend 15 min in the drive through on a Wednesday with 3 people in line. Yet somehow with chick fil a they have 10 people in line and I still get out in 5 min or less every time.... We are definitely in transition to just doing them because 1 better food and 2 I don't have to wait like I would in a restaurant but unfortunately they are not as close to home. Again, I only come here because it's right by my house and it's for my kid. Other than that I would never waste my time...

Best McDonald’s in Austin! I love McDonald’s and have tried McDonald’s locations all over Austin and this one is by far the best. The kitchen and counter is well-run and efficient. The managers have a high level attention to detail and customer service. They have their systems down like a well-oiled machine. They have an ordering kiosk, app ordering and delivery. All this to say, it’s the quality and taste of the food that make it the best. The food is cooked thoroughly and seasoned well. It’s not greasy or cold. The fries are perfectly cooked and salted. The fountain drinks are fresh, bubbly and crisp. They always have Happy Meal toys for the last est collectibles. The customers are regular and happy. People wouldn’t think to come here because it is inside a Wal-Mart Superstore, but I’m telling you, it will not disappoint.
