I had the pleasure of eating at Nimto Nepali Kitchen today for the first time and was thoroughly impressed with both the food and hospitality. As someone who has tried almost every Nepali restaurant around, I can confidently say that Nimto serves up the best authentic Nepali thali you can find locally - despite being a food truck!

We arrived right as they opened for afternoon service. While there was a short wait, the staff warmly welcomed us in and quickly had us seated. The ambience is casual yet cozy with picnic benches and decorations that creatively transform the portable food truck into an enriching Nepali experience. We decided to go with the unlimited thali plate and were treated to all of our favorite classics like daal, bhat, saag, mula ko achar and more. Each dish came out piping hot with vibrant flavors bursting in your mouth. The portion sizes were generous yet left us with space to pile in unlimited refills till we were stuffed to bursting.

Equally impressive was how the staff, especially the one who served us, made us feel like family – reminiscent of the hospitality one finds in a traditional Nepali sasurali (in-laws' home). Their affable nature made the incredible food taste even better! My brother who joined me even joked he found his sali (sister in law) among the staff.

For delicious tasting, authentic Nepali cuisine served in a warm welcoming ambience, I cannot recommend Nimto Nepali Kitchen highly enough. My first experience was wonderful today and I cannot wait to come back soon with...

This Nepali food truck has been open for a month plus on East Caesar Chavez and decided to give it a go. I ordered the mutton bhutan which was the special of the day and a chicken curry with rice, the portion on the chicken curry/rice was good, has flavor but was on the oily side.

I was totally disappointed in the Mutton Bhutan when I opened the take out order, it was just skin and liver pieces and priced at $14, which went straight to the trash after a bite. It would be good if people are warned when ordering something which contains organs. Waste of money and the taste of the bite I had was very pungent.

I saw people order Chowmein which looked like a safe bet and a large portion. Not sure if I will be back and not sure how they will sustain the truck when the menu is out of place with no real...

If there was anything below 1 star review , i would do that. Their service don't even deserve one star. The guy who took our order is asking us what did you order after waiting for like 45 -50 minutes. And he is serving the people who order 20 mins after we ordered just because he knows them personally or something. Very unprofessional service. Panipuri was so shoggy when they serve. But taste of momo, chowmein we had was okay. But they didnot serve our roti and just gave the curry. When i asked them I am just so disappointed with their service. Wait time was exactly one and half hour and still didnt serve all the food we ordered. Pathetic service. I dont recommend anyone here. Its just...

We have visited here a few times because I loved their momos. The food is quite good but the service is horrible. We waited 40+ mins for just two items (jhol momo and Chicken biriyani). They served 7 people who came later and ordered after us, served two parcels for pick up. And finally they packed our food like a pick up option as if they didn't really want us there. It felt horrible. I am not sure if I can visit a place where I am not respected even if they serve the best food in the world.
