Eat here, you wont regret it. I am so grateful I ran into this place while leaving the Great Outdogs. The ladies behind the window are super kind, and you can tell before you even eat that you're getting Caribbean food made with love. I went there today 3/12/19 and got the Cubanito sandwich, with an order of maduros, rice w/ gandules, and flan for dessert. If you like Cuban sandwiches like I do, you'll be equally as happy once you've tried it. The bread is literally perfect, flat and thin, with a very chewy crust (similar to a bagels texture). The meat was superb- very little grease, and you could really taste the pork. I bought the rice w/ gandules, they rreminded me of my mother's cooking. The maduros were cut thick and cooked perfect. Don't pass on the flan! Its homemade and absolutely wonderful- the serving size is large enough to share between 2 people, and they don't skimp on the glaze :) Happy I turned back around to give them a shot. I'll definitely become a regular.

I have been to every Cuban restaurant in Austin and this is by far the most authentic. The Cuban sandwich is hands down the best in town and the empanadas are large enough for two. Prices are very reasonable. I will DEFINITELY be returning here.

This is the BEST Cuban food in the city! Since moving here from Miami 2 1/2 years ago, I was immediately on the lookout for Cuban food. After trying several places & being disappointed, owner Violet and her mother gave my father & I the best meal ever! This is truly authentic Cuban food that makes you want to come back often. The Cuban sandwich and Lechon asado meals were amazing with incredible flavor! If you are looking for genuine Cuban food, look no further than Q’Bola Cuba. They have everything to satisfy your cravings for something...

Now located in The Domain. Had a great lunch here, everyone needs to spread the word! Started with a Papa Rellena (beef) and an Empanada (beef), both were really good and larger than we expected. Next was Lechon Asado and the Q Bola Special (Ropa Vieja on Tostones). The Lechon was a tremendous amount of meat, and the Q Bola Special is basically a sandwich on Plantains instead of bread, very ingenious. Also got the Yucca Frita as a side for the Q Bola abd it was cooked to perfection....
