Today my brother and I drove to Austin from S.A. to come to this store specifically. He has been here before and purchased. This was my first and last time. We enter and were sarcastically greeted by one older man. He sighed before asking if we needed anything and we ask if they have any xbox headsets (3.5mm) . He tells us he has "like two" and takes us to them. My brother starts looking at the boxes and this man is breathing down his neck! All he did was stand there watching him and measly answering the questions my brother had because we wanted to make sure we were buying the right product. I was looking at the quartz setup display, when I asked about one of the headsets he was super disinterested and gave me a random price of the headset! It didn't have a tag on it when I checked, which is why I asked in the first place. I check Google and his price was wrong... Lastly, I went to look at the keyboards, he tells me a fortnite llama escape key was "first come first serve" and they were "sold out". The 2nd associate comes from the back to then tell me they have two of those keyboards left!! This older guy with the medium length gray hair was so rude and lying to us just to get us out the store. I was planning on spending alot of money here, glad I didn't. I know about the retail industry and customer service. That man was just profiling us so hard from the beginning , it was super awkward and we will not...
Read moreNick was incredibly helpful getting us a new Blackwidow Ultimate! We’d definitely come back next time we need a peripheral.
Update: this keyboard is insanely cool. When playing the beta for the new Diablo game, the keyboard recognized we were playing Diablo and lit up in a way that the hotkeys for the spells would actually turn red or white depending on if they were on or off cool down!! Then they would even blink red when coming back off cooldown and finally back to red when ready to use. That was totally unexpected and I wish I thought of that! Would be even cooler if we started making vibrate keyboards that could give a haptic feedback when the spells are...
Read moreBe aware, the store maybe running some type of scam. Bought few items from them with the promise that I can return what I don't need as if it was bought online (I was on a trip in ATX). Bare with me. Went online to return the items, the helpdesk told me that items bought from the store can only be returned to the store. Emailed the store, they asked me to send the items via USPS or FedEx with the promise that they refund me the amount for returned items. Anyways, returned the items, but the store stopped responding via phone and email. Had to file with my bank to get my money back. Build a name for yourself Razer, then advertise for...
