The service and fries and baked Brie were amazing! The steak for $38… do not order it if you like steak. I love rare steak with fat, but half the fat you couldn’t even chew (I had to spit it out). And as much as I don’t mind a fatty steak, you can see in the photo (which was the photo before I started eating) how much fat vs meat there was. O.o All in all, if you are a steak lover, I wouldn’t recommend this steak. But definitely get the fries. Omg they were amazing (hence the 3 stars). Also, the bartender was super nice and friendly!

I love the atmosphere in this Second Bar + Kitchen! The dining room experience is relaxed and vibey, the staff are kind and accommodating. My partner and I have been Keto for a while now, and they are happy to help us pick things that are safe for us. My favorite has been their Ranchero Benedict, with greens instead of a biscuit. Depicted in this picture, is their hot matcha latte without sugar. It’s still delicious! I highly recommend this place.

Spent a few nights at the East Austin hotel and went to their restaurant for breakfast. Great experience: great tacos, great tacos and an exceptional food and beverage manager, Rebecca. The healthy juice was amazing. She cares for people and is passionate about her job. A really great experience.

Most terrible service I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I came here for brunch and there was no one at the host stand to seat us, afterward we had to go up to find a staff member to take our order. The food was fine, typical breakfast food and I felt the eggs were good quality. However, our waitress placed our food and immediately left, never asked us if we needed anything. Furthermore, we never got checked on after and I never saw her again. I had to go up to the bar to ask for ketchup, the bartender was the only person at the establishment who was actually doing her job. She was sweet and immediately took care of me, I genuinely felt so bad for her because it seemed she was doing everyone else’s jobs that day. Every other staff member was terrible. When I tried to pay my check, I had to go up to someone to just to be able to pay, even after making eye contact. Absolutely ridiculous. Later, I called the restaurant and asked if I left my card there and I was put on hold for over twenty minutes until I finally decided to hang up and just cancel my card. This was the worst experience I’ve had with...

This was unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had - so much so that I’m leaving my first ever dining-review: servers with poor timing isn’t all that uncommon, but 30-min. waits before check-ins upon being seated is egregious. Our entrees (duck confit and salmon) were brought out prior to the appetizers (inexcusable gaffe), we returned the entrees to wait on the appetizers and upon return asked for freshly cooked entrees to be replaced after appetizer-completion. The waiter assured me they would cook fresh duck and salmon. After completing the appetizers, said server picked up our dishes and told us the entrees were cooking on the grill, only to have her co-worker follow literally right behind her with our “reheated” meals they delivered instead of cooking it fresh again. The salmon was dry according to my guest, and so was my duck - the plate was also very hot - another sign they continued their negligent ways. This is a side of town that I truly love to frequent and was excited about having another dining option there - but I will gladly pass on a 2nd date with Second...

I had my favorite drink. I have always been disappointed with alcohol. It doesn't taste good. I know there is potential to make it good but most bartenders just mask an unpleasant alcohol flavor. I see because all the ingredients are quality here that the alcohol is good and the fruits and sugar add to it. I got a lot of what I was hoping for in a coconut drink. I was slightly buzzed from it but there was nothing hard about drinking it. I love strong drinks but some vodkas and whiskeys ruined it for me. I don't mind this being mild but might like something stronger next time. It's also too expensive. I would rather have an ugly bar with cheaper drinks. If you have a lot of money you can come here but it's too...
