My experience at this Target was rather frustrating. My husband and I arrived to the store 30 minutes before they opened and were the very first ones there. We arrived that early because we were seeking to buy a console that had just come out and online was showing they had one at the store and nowhere else in Austin, San Antonio or surrounding areas.
Another four guys arrived after us and at 8:00am the manager opened the door. We all quickly walked to the back to find the case empty and quickly scattered to look for a Target staff member to See if they had the console in the back. At the end, a couple of guys found the manager first and the girl that was helping my husband and I was having a hard time finding the item in her handheld device.
The manager found two consoles in the back and walked towards the registers with them on his hands. As he did this I told him, āhey, we were here first, we have been waiting for longerā he just shrugged his shoulders and gave the consoles to the other guys.
I was left empty handed and frustrated after driving 1.5 hours from Canyon Lake and being cheated out of my console by lack of a system in place for the sale of high demand items like these.
Iām in customer service and I am a manager too. I advocate for my clients every single day and I make it my mission to advocate to be fair to them. First come first served did not apply here, there were no rules or respect of any kind. Iām also not a child and I understand that it is only a game console. It is mainly the principle of the lack of customer service to me. I wasted my 90 minutes of drive one way to be cheated out of something that, had there been an order or system in place, I would have gotten. I will continue buying from Target, but I will NEVER go back to this store, not because of the distance, I do work close by, but because if management did this, what can I expect from the rest of the employees working...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSeriously rude employees, so disappointed to see this anywhere in Texas, this is the customer service I expect in Chicago.
One staff member was so angry when we couldnāt get a cart open for out baby that he stormed up to us, briskly said āI NEED MY SPACE!! Itās for MY safety!ā And made us stand 6 feet back on either side, before opening the cart seat and snorting at me when I said thanks.
I asked him where the bathroom was and he asked me if I could read. I was sent to the south east corner of the store where an employee had to let me in via a code. Not to get too detailed but I had an unfortunately longer visit to the menās room . Halfway through the employee opened the door on me and yelled at me to get off the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this store just after 7:15 this morning. Manager directed me to the bathroom and gave me the code. There were cleaning signs, but it made sense that this would have been from last night because the manager would know if the restrooms are closed so I used the code she gave me and went inside. I locked the door, but not the safety latch because they donāt provide safety and I had already locked the deadbolt. The cleaning lady knocked, so I cleared my throat and said no. She then proceeded to open the door and stare at me sitting down with my pants at my ankles telling me I should have read the sign. Itās my fault. Of course. Why accept responsibility for your actions? How about an apology for interrupting my...
