Great atmosphere above the Intercontinental hotel. Nice and quiet retreat from the city and a bit more upscale from the rest of the bars in the area without being over priced. The terrace has an area that was around from Congress to a side street and it's high enough up that the roar of the city it dampened well enough to have a conversation without yelling over background nose. Service is a bit in the slow side, but the drinks were good quality and the food was reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I can not comment on the food, as they were in the process of changing the menu. My wife and I have been here several times. Mainly during the ATX TV Festival that normally cooperates with the hotel and bar. The staff is fast and professional - could be a bit more courteous…but overall Tunis alright. The bar has a good vibe and it is nice that you can sit on the balcony. But while sitting on the balcony you observe things around you. And you notice the flags along the balcony. Some faded and broke. Why not fix those so it looks nice - and if not then out of respect for the meaning of the flag. But overall we had a good...

Nice hotel but the service in the bar was very poor. Sat outside on the terrace having been told that someone would bring a menu out to us. That didn't happen, although others further along the terrace were being served. So my husband went to the bar to see if he could order from there but no-one serving behind the bar. So after sitting waiting a little longer we just left. And none of the staff seemed the slightest bit interested or concerned. Very disappointing, this used to be such a nice place to come for a drink but certainly...
