Amazing food. Seriously amazing I haven’t gone back yet but I’ve been thinking about the plate I had for the past couple of weeks when I get hungry. Got the spicy wings with plantains & fries… LOVED every bite, the spicy sauce was amazing I don’t think words do the taste justice the food was just 🔥 it was actually spicy just like I like, the pricing for the portions are perfect, so happy to spend my money on good food that makes me feel good afterwards! The interaction with the man I assume was the manager was all good vibes, very nice and welcoming and informative when we asked about what to get. I hope I can make it back again soon. Don’t think twice if you see this truck grab a bite ! OH AND THE DRINKS!!! The drinks are so refreshing TRULY refreshing and just makes me feel happy? A.B. and his food are not to be missed. AB is an enthusiastic and kind ambassador for his West African roots and cuisine. With a gentle smile and excitement to share, AB served each dish providing unique and delicately delicious flavors. The preparations were fresh and diverse. The Fataya dough was light and flakey and A.B. prepared us a sample plate that had two of each incredible filling's. The Bantu Tewu meatballs were delightfully savory in a mild yet tasty broth with an incredibly unique spicy lime elixir to enhance the flavors. Woman was very friendly and the food was awesome. First time trying West African food; she was very kind to help us decide. We ended up getting the Fataya which is similar to an empanada. Because we were indecisive on the filling, she gave us a variety to try so that we could know for next time (fish, beef, and chicken filling). I've got to say I'm very picky when it comes to eating meat, I'm just more into vegetables or meat alternatives-- however this was really really good.
