I booked Frontera Tubing for my girlfriend’s 40th birthday, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience! From start to finish, they were incredibly communicative and professional. We initially scheduled our trip for Friday, but due to a family emergency with the driver, they reached out right away and offered to either reschedule for Saturday or refer us to another highly recommended company. Their open and honest communication made me feel confident in sticking with them and rescheduling for Saturday and I’m so glad I did!

From the moment we arrived, the energy and vibe were absolutely fantastic. The staff was upbeat, friendly, and super organized. Registration and loading onto the bus went smoothly, and they made sure to explain everything in detail so we knew exactly what to expect.

Once we got on the river, the guides continued to go above and beyond. Anytime someone in our group got stuck or needed help, they were right there to assist immediately. At one point, another group from a different company was trying to cause some unnecessary tension on the river. Our amazing guides immediately stepped in, created distance between our groups, and kept the vibe positive and enjoyable for everyone in my party.

During the float, I unfortunately developed a headache because I hadn’t eaten enough beforehand. Thankfully, one of the guys in our group had some ibuprofen to offer, which helped a lot. After learning about my headache, the guides continuously checked in on me throughout the rest of the trip to make sure I was feeling okay their care and attentiveness were truly next level.

This was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had, and I will absolutely be booking with Frontera Tubing again. I’ve already started recommending them to all my family and friends. oh where to begin! I planned an epic bachelorette party (like 57% of Austin's tourists) last memorial weekend and by far, the highlight of our trip was our river tubing experience, lead by none other than ravishing River Ross himself.

To escape the bustling BBQ smells, hella humidity, magical music scene and sleek captivating city life that is Austin, Texas—we booked a fresh water float down the San Marcos River to get our nature fix in. It was exactly what we needed to rejuvenate, cool down and soak up the breathtaking massive mangroves, crystal clear water and bond with my besties (beer in hand) with complete ease knowing that we had Ross looking after us! With transportation to/from Austin, tubing equipment and ice coolers taken care of and most importantly, a knowledgeable guide accompanying us throughout our lazy river mermaid journey—Frontera Tours was everything and more, expectations meet plus some! No worries in sight, only a blissed out bridal party babes enjoying their best lives thanks to the convenience, care and charm Ross brought to the table. Of course, the beauty of San Marcos River is just as note worthy!
