Didn't at all expect what I got.
I ordered online and upon arrival I was greeted by a pink bag.
Inside, was my Chicken Zurrito sans the pico. Wrapped in foil, still toasty warm, sitting atop my Baklava dessert.
Upon biting into the zurrito, I was met with a flavor I've never before experienced. To say there was an angelic choir would be a lie, as this was such an unexpected flavor that it was ... Akin to expecting a Coke and ending up with a Dr. Pepper. Objectively better, yes, but surprising nevertheless.
After that moment of surprise, however, and a few more to process the creaminess of the dressing, the perfect crunch of the slaw, the meatiness of the chicken, and the flavor ya gotta try to appreciate...I proceeded to stuffa mah face with the thing. The rice didn't suffer for the dressing, nor the other way around, and assembly was expert.
Then I tried the Baklava. My God, so rich it could buy Elon Musk.

Read moreWe got the feta fries, 2 quesadillas, and imported dip. Feta fries were overly seasoned and did not hold up to the car ride home. We like about 15 minutes away from the location. We could not get over that season I even tried dusting them off but it was just too overwhelming. The quesadillas are fine and sauce paired well with them. However we did not like the pita bread or imported dip. Pita bread was salty and the dip was not for us. I suggest ordering through the app we ordered at the kiosk and it was too hard for us to read or see the menu items. We ordered the dip thinking it was a hummus and was not. It did take a while to get out food but the ladies were very nice. I'm not totally turned off by my first experience but it will be awhile before I go back. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny, if your on a budget this is not a place for you. Our meal came out 60 for 2 people. Portions are generous so think about...
Read moreIt's fine, I suppose. They set up right next to Kebabalicious downtown (3rd & Congress). Kebabalicious hadn't yet opened when I arrived at lunchtime and Ziki didn't have any customers in the vicinity, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Ordered the falafel zurrito and Greek fries. First of all, it was super-slow (10-15 minutes), especially considering no one was there. The flavors of the zurrito were ok, but way too much plain, unseasoned rice. I recommend getting it without the rice, if you go for the zurrito, because it's just filler and really adds nothing to the burrito but bulk. There also wasn't much going on texturally. The falafel, rice, and hummus all sort of blended together in a generic mush. The Greek fries were also just ok. The fries were limp and in desperate need of a sauce of some sort. Given the wait and the end result, I should have held out for...
