Tacology Aventura - Mexican Taqueria — Restaurant in Aventura

Today, I had an awful experience with the cashier at Tacology and it really shook me. his name was “Marvin” or “‘marlen” he was wearing glasses. I was trying to understand what he was saying — I wasn’t being difficult, I was just confused — and instead of being patient or helpful, he started making fun of me.

He laughed, looked over at his coworker, and they both kept exchanging smirks like I was some kind of joke, they kept trying to explain the “taco Tuesday” special and I wasn’t fully understanding “Marvin” or whatever his name is, because he was speaking fast in Spanish and honestly, he was making no sense Because I speak Spanish and it sounded like gibberish. this wasn’t just unprofessional — it was humiliating. I felt small, anxious, and like I didn’t belong.

I left feeling embarrassed and really upset, and honestly, it stuck with me. I don’t think people realize how damaging it can be when they mock or belittle someone just for struggling to understand. It wasn’t just bad service — it was dehumanizing. I was already having a really rough day dealing with some heavy news that I had received. I thought that eating some tacos would lift me up. Make me feel a little better some comfort food ya know? The service was terrible and the tacos were cold. The steak tacos had no taste. The chicken tacos were OK. I never really write reviews, but I had to write about this so that I can advocate for myself. This guy was truly terrible. This was such an embarrassing/ undeserving moment for me. Service here...

Im a mall worker and I usually come here every 2 days and yesterday I had to witness probably the rudeness and mistreatment from customers to the cashier, the lady in front of me was ordering tacos and the cashier girl explained how they come and boy let me tell you SHE KNOWS THE MENU and asked her if she wanted anything else or add anything else to the tacos and the lady said it was fine when they were working on hers and adding the toppings the lady asked that why weren’t they putting guacamole on her tacos and the girl packing her order told her it was an extra charge for it and then the lady turned to the cashier and started yelling at her that why didn’t she mentioned that the guacamole was extra and why they were charging her for it and the cashier had to apologize FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and explain to her again and the lady said “Van de mal en peor” which means from bad to worst and took her order but I felt bad for the cashier because probably customers don’t realize she don’t put the prices, is the owners, she handled that situation calmly and very professional. I Hope that the management team see that and recognizes...

I come from Mexico and this tacos are the most delicious tacos I have ever had in Miami. I had their taco combo .The pastor has an authentic Mexican flavor. The steak was full of flavors juice and fresh the birria was just amazing. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable of their product the manager Stephany was over expectations when it comes to service. It made us feel as if we were at a dine in restaurants. This location was spotless clean even though it was busy they all took the time to give each guest individual attention and the service they need it. I set in the front of the restaurant for about 45min and every single person that approached the counter walk out with a big smile in their face.
